  1. Looks like the 1980 Dually kit may be returning soon! Wonder what changes, if any, will be made to it?
  2. Looks like this kit will be coming back soon! This site incorrectly shows it as 1/25 scale. It normally has been sold as a 2n1 kit, I wonder if the 3n1 is a typo?
  3. Hopefully the Corvette is a full detail kit!
  4. That would be a cool idea for the aftermarket, especially with the recent release of the half cab 1st gen Bronco!
  5. You could probably use the one from the current AMT 1981 GMC 4x4 kit. You will probably need to shave where it attaches to the bumper, but the overall profile will work.
  6. I have used their paint a few times and it sprays excellent, I can spray a decently heavy coat before it even thinks of running, and the nozzle is very nice. I have used a white base coat underneath to help it pop a bit more.
  7. Seems like the Ram TRX would be a good kit then, since they do seem to be popular in some places in Europe.
  8. Is there a chance we could get a dark theme option for this site? I've come to appreciate it on other sites since it's not as blinding for my eyes, and then coming back here is like going out in the sun without sunglasses! ?
  9. “Gall darn it, what is with this bonnet and boot talk?” ?
  10. That's one of the shortcomings of the Lightning kit, the tires are too small compared to the real truck, I'm sure due to Revell reusing tires from another kit.
  11. @SteveG Are the Chevy pieces still around, or was the S10 kit converted to the Sonoma kit? Also, any chance of bringing back the S10 Blazer 2dr kit?
  12. My wife and I’s 1:1 project! 1975 Ford F250 Highboy with a 390! Plans for now are to fix the flatbed, update the interior, tune up and change fluids, replace body mounts, and give it a quick spray paint!
  13. This is one subject (especially the newer G-Wagens) that I am surprised has not had a new tool made! =
  14. Looks good! I think if you did a thin black or charcoal stripe on the border between the orange and white, it would help it pop a bit more!
  15. Love watching these large scale builds! I am pretty sure they package them like they do so you are "forced" to keep buying the monthly packs (if not going the full purchase route like you did).
  16. Ah, then disregard my remark! ? Any thoughts on what you will paint orange on the body?
  17. Oof you made the same mistake I did on the rear suspension, not attaching the brake rotors before the suspension arms. You will have to trim them back if you want the brake rotors to sit properly! They definitely could have done a better job designing how it all goes together!
  18. I know the First Edition was a limited production run, so they probably didn't want to bother adding it to the brochure since they advertised it so heavily back then.
  19. The main differences are the model (363 V in this kit, 361 V in the El Camino kit), and with that the cabin layout. This one has the dual windshield cockpit, while the other one only had a single windshield cockpit. The ski rack has been included in the Bronco kit in the past, and you are correct that they are snow skis.
  20. I saw an old article that said it was so people could ride in the camper and have a good view if there wasn't enough space in the truck cab!
  21. Yeah after doing a quick Google search for "1963 slide in camper" I don't see anything that looks close to the kit camper. However, what I wouldn't give to have one of these for real! ?
  22. I know you’re probably talking older trucks, but I am hoping Round 2 will rerelease the 90s Ram 2500/3500 kits since they were willing to bring back the snap 90s Chevy kits!
  23. Yup the engine bay confirms this is the Ex-Monogram kit.
