Ok, rightly or wrongly I have inscribed the panel lines, opened a few more vents and generally started tidying the body up but there is a lot more to do. I have also started the interior which I received last night. It came with a standard late model dashboard but I am now able to correct to reflect the car I'm building. Tks a lot Tom. So, no pressure then, I'll just get on with it. Dave B

Whilst building my Interserie 917 my mate turned up with a Bizzarrini 5300GT. It's a filament print, which I prefer while he sorts out his resin printer. The following week he turned up with some resin printed wheels. Just as well because I won't build a model unless I can get the wheels right, tks Phil Anyway with a little work and a dig in my box of resin bits and pieces I have finished the wheels/tyres. The body will take a little longer!! It will be built as the class winning Le Mans '65 car. Tks for looking. Dave B

Down at my mates place the other week and he gave me an old Heller 917 that someone had started to build and then pulled apart. Front suspension is missing, tub and rear framework buckled. The beauty of it was it include an old resin Interserie body that is a reasonable copy of 917-026 so that's how it will be built. Have straightened the tub and made a suitable front end to hang the wheels off!!. I would love to paint it yellow with the red pattern work but it will probably end up in the red with yellow stripe version. The body has taken a fair bit of work to mate with the Heller chassis but it's getting there. Tks for looking. Dave B

This is my take/tribute to the Kar Kraft/Bud Moore Engineering '69 Mustang gifted to Canadian Allan Moffat to race in the Australian Touring Car Championships. It has a race record of around 100 wins from 153 starts but failed to win the ATCC. to me it is the most revered Mustang in Oz and I was lucky enough to see it race back in the day. The build took a little longer than expected due to the mods required. 2mm pie cut from the radiator support back to the shock towers; front of body heated with a hair dryer and pulled down to meet inner fender wells and radiator support panel; guards cut and flared; dashboard rebuilt and sectioned; scratch built roll cage; centre consule removed; rear quarter windows opened; photo etched hood pins fitted with spring steel pins in the radiator support panel; 3D printed 12mm and 11mm disc rotors and calipers fitted; competition seats fitted with belts and photo etched hardware; resin Minilites fitted; and Patto's decals. Been great fun building it and now on too something with a few less mods!! Tks for looking. Dave B

The complete set of Motor Racing Replica News/ Motor Racing Models was reissued on CD, with the permission of Mike Quarterman a little while back but I can't remember who arranged it, one of the "known" modellers I recall. Dave B

Nice looking build. The only apparent problem with the decals is they appear to have yellowed. Dave B
