  1. You paint scheme really pops and is very creative!
  2. same as me, but I use the Curse it into Existence trick to lure it out also. I'm going to try the Velcro trick on my apron
  3. a cool idea, Michelle. Here's a challenge for your next build. Try using Bare Metal Foil on the trim. Your skills seem well up to this and you will sit back amazed how easy it is and how much it elevates your builds.
  4. Another 1/35 kit that just came up at Hobby Search and looks pretty cool to me.
  5. I've wanted to do this one since it came out, but there's just too many on my plate now ... thankfully I get to see one built here!
  6. I like the OD paint job ... a real scout.
  7. Good to see it on the road ... beautiful, as usual!
  8. welcome and will be looking forward to photos
  9. I find it amazing you can produce those dents ... you provided excellent evidence in the video of what's been talked about here. I'm a retired Structural Engineer and haven't designed a beam in eight years. I don't want to start in again by calculating the force necessary to deform the dome of the can. Sorry to all those interested and I know this should be the next step in the inquiry.
  10. Yeah, I get it ... but put the grill in the 'use me' box.
  11. I really liked the shape of the 'bug' grill you made, but not sure the reason you nixed it ... made the whole vehicle too long? The interior looks fantastic .. nice job on that!
  12. I always enjoy watching an 'owned' car getting built ... it's all in the details. Sorry to hear about the body, but it's all looking good and it's interesting to read your progress.
  13. Wonderful job replicating that beast ... subjects for '32 Rods is getting short.
  14. nice dio .. believable
  15. definitely BLING!
  16. I love doing all my cars too, and family as well. What did you use for this one ... a die cast? and .. that's a beautifully clean looking build!
  17. Awesome! Looks like the beaches will be SO much closer ... and BOTH sides of the mountain range I'm on! Anyone know where I can get surfboard wax?
  18. I'm sure this will be a popular model to have and I'm amazed at the lengths you going to ending up with an injection molded product! I'd be interested in seeing how the body comes from a 3D printer as I'm just beginning to have some parts made that way.
  19. You don't need to be on Facebook to access his page, so here's a link.
  20. To keep this flowing, here's the best photo I have after cleaning up the surfaces with 400 and 600 paper. They looked after applying some silver paint to show defects. I'm really happy how they are looking. Those previous photos really do look bad but are really exaggerated. The carpet monster did rear up and gobble the left one, so I ordered another from Shapeways and it's in the mail now!
  21. I really like the look of that ... subtle touches that make it stand out!
  22. non-trucker loves the look of that!
  23. Bet it has a good radio, though!
  24. That's cool doing his car .. and I'm curious too about that color combo cause I'm sure the photos weren't color.
  25. That's cool .. some sticky mud there!
