  1. Really cool! Your nice, clean execution on this one pretty much renders all this kit's little hiccups inaudible.
  2. That's looking really nice!
  3. Yep, they redid the grille, some of the body cladding, and some of the interior widgets for the '96 model year, and of course the 5.9 Limited had a few of its own unique parts. The bumper is looking good so far!
  4. I would send an e-mail to Ron at RMR- he already casts the Colts mentioned and maybe he'd like to add your '76 to his lineup.
  5. Lovely looking model! You could just buy two of 'em... build one, then save the box from the other. Then you'd have the box AND a nice C-series left over to fit out with whatever body you want back there...
  6. Didn't know the rear wheel openings were a bit 'off' as well- wonder if they did that as a compromise for the upcoming drag racing version? Anyway, I've got to hand it to you for the effort you've spent on this one. It'll be a marked improvement over what comes in the box, hands down. Me? I'm taking the easy route and using the kit as a donor for that MAD '79 Four-Eye notch.
  7. Unfortunately, yes. I was just at Dean's Hobby Stop today and Dean was wondering where he's been as well.
  8. In before somebody remarks "They got the shape of that back window all wrong."
  9. Nice! Can't wait to see how you handle the modifications to the grille and front bumper cover. I have one of these kits I'd like to convert to a '97.
  10. Trust me... this movie isn't worth seeing. Just look for the cars when they show up on imcdb.org.
  11. Yeah- I'm planning on addressing that. I think it should be rounded, like the stock pickup cab doors were.
  12. I was hoping Round 2 would revive the idea for this kit when they took over Lindberg. Hoping it comes to market this time!
  13. That's my one issue with this kit- something about the grille looks off. It just looks a little 'chunky' to my eye when compared to the 1:1.
  14. More or less, but more traditional in style. Or I might go rat rod with it. Not really sure what I'll do with it for now.
  15. I've long had the idea of building a '37 Ford pickup hot rod using the fenders and front end from a '37 Deluxe. To that end... The fender unit is of course from the long-lived Monogram street rod kit, and the cab used to be a Jimmy Flintstone Sedan Delivery. Eventually a '40 bed will be parked behind it. Will I finish it? Or will the project crash and burn? As always, you'll know when I know...
  16. Love it!
  17. Well, she's back in pieces now... the fun can officially start.
  18. I've seen a 13b torn down and always wondered if you could 'stack' the components like that- guess now I have my answer. Thanks, Bill- I think you just helped me out more than you could possibly imagine.
  19. I'm kicking around the idea of a project with tandem Mazda rotary engines, and on the cover of that issue is an Andy Brizio-built '32 Ford roadster with just such a setup. I'd like to see how everything was packaged in there, and I can't seem to find any pics online other than the image on the cover. The car still exists, but is now powered by a snooze-inducing SBC. I'd appreciate any help.
  20. I believe so- the salvage yard it's at is planning on using it to clear the paths during winter.
  21. Well, if you can call those padded tray tables in front of the firewall as 'seats'. I call cars like that 'technical two-seaters'.
  22. Love it! That thing just screams '70's to me... but in the best way possible.
  23. Surprisingly realistic for what they are! And the Freightshaker's nice too.
