  1. EJ's is also worth checking out (is he still around?), but Ryder's is the main shop in town. Just beware- heavy traffic, and lots of idiot motorists in that city.
  2. Crikey, why won't this bloody wanker fit properly!
  3. I just can't help but think of how much cooler this would look with a few inches sectioned out of the body. Guess I'll have to try and see, huh?
  4. Sick and twisted... I keep seeing that '47 Olds grille on a Moebius Hudson...
  5. Have to say that's the most creative use of a Sharpie I've ever seen! I'm going to have to start saving my Sharpies when they run out.
  6. Most of you police car guys probably know this, but in case you didn't- the AMT Rides Magazine kits (the ones with the GIGANTIC wheels) come with a laptop computer as an accessory, along with a PS2 and controller. Not that you'd need those last two in a cop car, but still!
  7. Got some spare MPC Zingers parts! No idea what I'll use them on yet, but I guarantee I'll use 'em!
  8. "Hollywood" was the name Hudson used on its hardtop Hornets.
  9. Whoa... didn't you just start on that thing?
  10. Looking good- really like the T-Bird-sytle tonneau that flows into the seat backs.
  11. That's a factory Hornet Hollywood body.
  12. This one's got my seal of approval.
  13. I don't build many race car models, but I'm very interested.
  14. It does, but read the label carefully- some of the newer fluids will not strip paint. Check the label, and if it says something to the effect of "Avoid contact with painted surfaces", you're in business.
  15. Are those old boxer short remnants I see? That's shaping up to be very cool.
  16. I had Hollywood Hot Rods' website in the other tab when I was reading this thread- guess that's it!
  17. "Motor City". Why'd I say Hollywood? But yeah, they do look a lot better stripped and refinished- the engraved lettering stands out a LOT better.
  18. Like it so far!
  19. THe Convert. has Hollywood heads and air cleaner housing, and a three two intake with separate carbs. I think it has headers, too, but I'm not totally sure.
  20. If only modern-day Pirates had this kind of style and swagger.
  21. 'Bling' reaches a whole new level.
  22. I was just looking up P-51s online today, and the Wikipedia entry on this one said it had been involved in a crash on September 16, 2011. I thought "Wait... that's today!" Did a little web searching and found out...
  23. Looks like they need to keep working on it.
  24. Only HH items Ive used were the lowrider lo-pro whitewalls and wire wheel set (not sure what the part number was).
  25. I've been told (and its been mentioned) that the markings on the existing M&H slicks aren't correct (M&H never had white letters) but a lot of guys liked to paint the letters by hand with whitewall paint. I've seen redline pie crust slicks in 1:1, not sure if they were M&H or not.
