That's about as accurate and well-done as any Gullwing model I've ever seen. I definitely like the removal of the bumpers, and the car could be ordered with any paint you wanted.

One of the best kits of this car in any scale. Also recommend its partner, Johan's 500K Roadster Limousine hardtop coupe. I have lots of reference materials on these cars, so let me know if you need anything.

His Curly Bill in "Tombstone," along with an overall tremendous cast, is why that movie will always be a classic.

The whole nose section in front of the wheels looks like it tilts up too much.

This one is very bizarre to me, never seen another exactly like it. Surely it's a 1966+ 275 GTB4 competiizione, but it appears to have more of a GTO nose treatment than others. EDIT: okay I found it. A 1964 GTB/C Speciale, one of 3 built.

No decals. You can get some information on this kit from Harry P's book, page 57." Instead of trying to recreate the very thin dual black and red stripe look, I went with single, wide black stripes. I created all the stripes by masking the body panels with Scotch tape, and cutting the stripe shapes freehand with an X-acto. While I can't identify all the original manufacturers of the diecasts, note that some are collectible and expensive (like those made by Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint), and others not so much.

The only other thing I would mention for the benefit of future builders is that the luggage rail should really be in 2 parts – the curved upper part is its own piece and goes around the rear upper part, and the horizontal rail is a separate piece that mounts to the floor of the baggage deck, and goes up & down.

Don't know what's happening, but like last week, I did a correct search without digging up a proper image.
