  1. Beautiful.
  2. Send a PM to Cato for information on the existing gofundme account.
  3. I wish this thread could be pinned here. The problem and needs aren't going away soon.
  4. Well, said Cato. A serious situation with serious needs. I urge all members to contact Cato to learn how to help.
  5. Add Grandt Line to your list of parts suppliers.
  6. When I was little, my Dad had a 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood (series 62?). A glorious, comfortable tank.
  7. Looks like a grinning ghost car with two ghosts inside.
  8. All red is not at all unusual for even the rarest Mercedes, Rolls and Bugatti, though you'll often see an accompanying black or dark red second color.
  9. I'd love to see pictures!
  10. Maybe the holiday reduced participation.
  11. I know this is an old thread, but I'll jump in anyway since it's back. Gerald Wingrove built an amazing 1/15 version of this car, covered in vol. 1 of his book, "The Complete Car Modeller." He used real pear wood to replicate the look of the original at that scale.
  12. The 1/12 Bentley looks great built mostly box stock, as I did. The main detailing that most modelers would insist on is to replace molded-on mesh pieces with real wire mesh, and perhaps add some engine wiring. There's plenty of online reference.
  13. I didn't find it on Monday, but it turned up on Tuesday, using some of Monday's search terms. I wonder if results get bumped up higher after there have been other Googlers looking for the same thing for a while.
  14. I remember those -- The Buccaneers starred Robert Shaw as Dan Tempest (I think).
  15. I have a boxed DVD set of 600 episodes of 50s TV westerns including those. Amazing what's there.
  16. LOVE the reference to Mary Woronov.
  17. That's why I convinced my Dad to buy a bow and arrow set. Unfortunately, the reruns shown around here are so chopped up for commercials that they're too hard to follow. But the Disney movie with Richard Todd (and their other Todd movies like Rob Roy and The Sword and the Rose) were killer.
  18. Superb paint.
  19. Ditto. Outstanding work.
  20. Your talent and fortitude are...well, words fail me.
  21. Nice job. Like the Tamiya Morgan, this one has great wire wheels.
  22. Already stunning.
  23. You'd like "All Night Long," an early 60s take on the London jazz scene; it's based on "Othello," with Patrick MacGoohan as the Iago type.
  24. Very, very nice. Great work on the different paint finishes.
  25. Totally agree with Brian C and the others who think the model should be displayed with an open hood. The engine is the signature feature, and your work on it is a masterpiece.
