  1. Beautiful build of a favorite Muscle Car David. Love the blue on blue colors and the detailing is very nice, especially the orange overspray on the aluminum bell housing. Very nice work!?
  2. Hey James…this is a notoriously tough kit to build. The tool is really wore out, some of the panel lines and trim lines don’t exist any more and some of the body panels are pretty warped. Yours turned out pretty cool, that blue is really nice, can’t help but wonder what it would look like with a bright white in a typical 55 Chevy two tone paint job. Also, the white showing through the holes in the wheels kinda of washes out the details of the wheels…I think if you painted the surface behind the wheels a dark color it would really make the wheels “Pop”. Not criticizing, Just an old guy’s 2 cents worth. Looking forward to seeing your next build?
  3. Good looking Cornet Tim…the stance, color, and wheel/tires all work together for a subtle look on an otherwise aggressive street machine. I really like the tunnel rammed RB, don’t see that very often.?
  4. This build was inspired by Harry Luzader’s 32 Ford Gasser that raced in the mid 60’s. While the Revell 32 Fords are much more detailed and certain aspects of the body are more accurately shaped…I really enjoy building these old AMT kits and trying to make something cool from them. Used a lot parts from other kits and aftermarket on this one. Engine is from AMT 57 Corvette Fuel Injection manifold is from AMT Double Dragster Injection stacks are from Speed City Resin Magneto and wires from Pro Tech Wire looms from Model Car Garage Headers from Drag City Resin Frame is from AMT 32 Ford Vicky (more detailed than the Coupes) Front Suspension is from AMT Double Dragster Wheels from Drag City Resin Rear Tire from AMT Parts Roll Bar from AMT 32 Ford Vicky Steering Wheel from Monogram 32 Ford Roadster Headlight Bar from Monogram 32 Ford Roadster Fuel Tank from Revell 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe Tail lights from Revell 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe Thanks for lookin’?…
  5. Nice build…you definitely captured the look and feel of this bizarre part of Japanese automotive culture. Beautiful paint work,
  6. Nice replica of your friend’s rod. Love the black paint with white walls and the stance is perfect!
  7. AMT 32 Ford Vicky with a few Revell Parts added…thinking Baby Blue with white interior and top insert.
  8. Wicked little Hot Rod!
  9. Great looking box stock build of a classic kit!
  10. Beautiful little Hot Rod Alan…love the color and stance. Great tribute to your friend.
  11. 2007 Nissan Skyline 250GT…cars are cheap here in Okinawa, 88,000 kilometers, no rust only $4600.
  12. That’s too cool Jesse….it’s amazing how good these old Monogram hot rod kits are, they just look so good.
  13. Nice and smooth…great looking rod. Very clean work.
  14. Always a pleasure seeing one of your 32s Bernard…nice collection of aftermarket stuff that totally reflect this current/traditional build style.
  15. Beautiful work Ferby…the custom bodywork and paint are stunning!?
  16. Nice Kenmari Skyline Andrew…I built an Aoshima Kenmari a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it too. I like your “Works” version, I went with a modified stock look with mine. The baby blue paint suits this car well. Nice work!
  17. Good looking RX7…nice save on the over fender paint. I’ve recently built a couple of these Japanese curbside kits and really enjoyed it, they’re great for practicing your body detailing skills. Nice work!
  18. Very Cool…looks really sinister.
  19. Cool concept Phil…nice job on all the bodywork and interior mods!
  20. Good lookin’ Hakosuka…nice work on the carbon fiber and the fat wats look really good!
  21. Thank You all for the kind words.
  22. Cool Hot Rod Oliver…Thanks for sharing the in progress photo of the bodywork required to build a 28/29 Coupe, something I may try in the future.
  23. Nice build David…such an iconic car and very realistic looking. One of the best things about building models is being able to build something you could never afford in 1:1.
  24. Nice clean work…the light blue and the Old Pro decals look great together.
