  1. Tamiya white primer spray can. For white walls I just mask and spray. For white letters spray a piece of glass and stick the tire onto it....takes a few times and practice.
  2. You took on a Mans job with that top chop....well done!
  3. GRATE spin on that build!!!!
  4. Same here....I was a big seller at one time...no longer. And buying much less too......but kinda goes with age.....
  5. When you create a listing for an item to sell you are required to check a box combined shipping or not.....so if an auction does not state seller does.....assume they do not. I have had 3 sellers in the last 3 months never ship an item.......I got all my money back...but took a month or two. Still use ebay since 1999.
  6. For some reason I really like that!
  7. It's such a neat kit......part of it was remembering how hard it was back in the 60's to decide hoe to build it!!! My Hot Wheels style build.......
  8. That's one of the best builds of that kit I have seen!!!! That is one of the early Model King kits I worked on. Yet to build one....but yours is great! Dave had some art and I turned it into decal print art.
  9. A super nice neat clean build. It's such a odd kit to have survived. I mean there are plenty other kits of the era that I wish had survived but long gone........was this mold sitting un-noticed in the corner of the vault?? I'm glad it did make it as it;s a great look at AMT in the era. Hope you don't mind my build......
  10. .....I could build one a day for many many years.........
  11. My two best hauls were the old hardware store around 1979 that was frozen in time about 1967. Took me 3 trips to get it all. Most unusual was I was out checking in at some race shops in Harrisburg Concord NC area. Drove by a wholesale pharmaceutical company that said it had toys on close out. Had 3 kids at home so I stop. Found little.....but did find a Monogram Bill Elliott Melling Thunderbird kit for $2. Took it to the register and the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted more of the Elliott kits. I said yes....he said how many.....he said I have 300 on hand.......give me $1 each if you take all of them. I DID......a year later the NASCAR boom hit and I sold them for more than a $1 for sure.
  12. Very cool!!! I feel I could live in that!!!
  13. good start....I like the kit....warts and all......
  14. Very cool THANKS!!! I picked up a Testors/IMC kit for the 46 trim I need to build my 1/1 car.....so there is still good things in that Testors kit!!
  15. Dupli-color #1699 Sealer gray. Very fine, thin and seals. Been my favorite for 20 years now.
  16. Great work....I'll pass on doing it....but great to see those that will!
  17. What a great build!! I think there is a photo of it in a old Racing Pictorial magazine.....A+++ Just a FYI if one wanted to build one like this....the S&H Torino combined with the recent ISSAC Torino is an easy kit bash.
  18. WOW!!! Talk about a waterfall grille!!!! Great work!
  19. My favorite....a neat and super clean build!!!! Don't hurt I own a 1.1 46 DeLuxe!
  20. Thanks.....I always wondered what was in that kit.
  21. I got my production kit today.....pretty happy with it. Not perfect but once built the exhaust softness will go away. Overall a great addition to our hobby.
  22. We could be related!!!! My 46 'in progress'......I have a mint IMC for the 46 parts to add to the Revell kit......somefay!!! Your 1/1 is a little more finished....but I'll get there....only had it 11 months.....
  23. Looks great....perfect stance!
  24. I got a big package of cheap poster board, 3M spray glue and some new #11 blades. I am building structures for my O scale 1/48 model railroad. Last completion......printed paper over poster board......'kit' by Clever Models.....
