  1. I have plans for a build too.....and I KNOW mine will be close....but never exact replica. Be watching.
  2. wasn't that 2013???
  3. I used to buy every year from him.......I think one of his first full resin kits......the Goldenrod LSR car. Too bad....had a number of items I wanted to see before buying.
  4. Again......great craftsmanship.........maybe I missed it....what do you thin nail polish with???
  5. Any one know if Jimmy Flinstone resin be there???
  6. I understand it was on the car Revell used to measure.......so not a 100% factory stock model....but super EZ to fix if you want.
  7. VERY NICE!!
  8. Very nice save!!! One of the very few HW I do not own......
  9. If you have the Blu-ray at the end when the Gigahorse is on the lift going up...you can see the rear wheels pretty well....I think.
  10. My Ollies did have a few very good kits last time!!!! Or at least to me!!! They had those 4 foot long Zepplins for $20 each....grabbed two!!
  11. You got a BIG project ahead!!!!!! I started gathering items needed,,,,,,,I must have spent $100 on toy tractor tires before I got the right ones!!! Personal life got in the way as soon as I got everything together......my Dad passed unexpectedly. So I am stalled...... Good luck...I'll be watching for sure. PS...I did build this.....while I was restricted to wheelchair for some foot surgery!!!
  12. LONG time fan here too........saw Fury 11 times in the theater!!! I wanted a MM Falcon so bad I built my own long before any resin or plastic. This was a first of a planned series of every version of the var in Mad Max and Warrior......only films at the time. A JoHan Torino and AMT Mustang.....some putty!!! But after this 'before' the MFP got it....I got lazy.......so it was the only Falcon but I did build others.
  13. Mine had no Cougar II or I'd got one. I understand this is old warehouse stock left from the old Lindberg which rumor has it they over produced big time. Just a way for R2 to re-coup some carital. IMHO ONLY!
  14. Ditto on the Willys....I bought this for parts....have a few in stash. The 330 shows bench but buckets inside.
  15. Two thumbs up on both!!!
  16. Old Pyro tool.....a tough build.....tried twice as a kid because they were at Pic n Save for 50 cents.....
  17. I drove the 1.5 hours today....but I had to go any way...... got Dodge Dakota sport p/u Atlantic concept 64 Dodge 330 MPC Paddy wagon snaper and the best deal pound for pound...Dodge Ramunition monster truck....bought for parts..must be 3 pounds!! And yes....I checked auto paint and got some Dupli-color for 99 cents for big cans.....happy camper!!! Also got a Peterbilt 359 at Hobby Lobby for $20 along with some paint.....AND 2 cans Dupli-color #1699 sealer at Magic Mart $3 ea......a GOOD day!!
  18. That's what works best.......whatever works for YOU!! There is no one right.......but I feel it's a non-issue.
  19. I run a blue dist cap on my 66 Mustang 289W....so that's fine!! Two notes......the intake does hang past the heads on a W.....maybe not as much as the kit...but very close. I have a ton of these 1/1 engines. The front cover is generic enough that it can pass as either really.....but I get a W feel from photos.
  20. Two thin coats of Dupli-color sealer and no pinkish at all.......why I've used it going on 20 years...
  21. Stock ride height is pretty easy. The front and rear suspension mounts to the chassis with big round hollow posts. Trim the post a little at a time until ride looks right. Glue posts to chassis over pins in chassis.
  22. Reminds me of this real car too!!! Which became 'Elvis' in Mad Max Fury Road.....
  23. I see a few 'I need'......like a hole in the head....but pick them up anyway. thx
  24. I sprayed mine with two thin coats of Dupli-color #1699 gray sealer......sealed and you can't tell it was red.
  25. You make that intake look good!!!!
