  1. Yes....both great people. For years I took the kids to Trans Am and IMSA races. MOST of the drivers were friendly and giving. My kids still remember them today. Thx
  2. I use Indycals too. If he makes a set I want but don't make I buy his. I've been a St James fan for a long time and have made decals for her cars for a years.
  3. My Penngwen Hobbies offer a line of vintage road race decals. PM me if you want a catalog. thx
  4. Went to school in the 70's....they were still using the 50's era Ohio State Patrol films of real wrecks.....most of the time very bloody!
  5. It's like Lionel Pre-War ( WWII) trains. Mint sets were selling for hundreds of thousand of dollars in the 1970's.....then when people that grew up with the trains passed the price collapsed and now most of the Pre=War is tough to give away. I fear the same will happen to our cars.
  6. Good price for the ultra rare 'Challenges' Dodge......only ONE was made I think.
  7. As an aftermarket manufacture myself and someone who loves RB product......7 months is unacceptable. If I take more than 2 days to ship product I am in the hospital or away.....one week was the longest it ever took. 7 months to me means refund. JUST IMHO ONLY
  8. I have thought for years that model and/or building a real car was good for your mind. No matter in 1/1 scale or 1/25 I build projects over and over in my mind before I commit to real world. I find issues and sort out the order of a process. Bottom line is it keeps your mind active and then causes you to use the data collected to build something.
  9. I bought a bunch of his stuff at the Toledo NNL......it was his first show and his prices were REALLY low. Some of the best aftermarket stuff out there....hope he is still making items.
  10. Got the wheels and tire so I can start setting things up.....could not do that with those junk tires I had been using. I like it!!!! Thanks
  11. Nice wok!! I built both of those in 2019 while I was restricted to home. Nice kit too....
  12. My current project is a 1923 Ford T. The chassis is a long WB for a C Cab delivery body......not 100% sure the exact body yet. 302 Ford power
  13. There is nothing going High Speed for 2 hours on the ground in NYC.......More Look at US
  14. Cool stuff!!!!! A FAV film of mine
  15. I have two of the Revell Maverick F/C kits......the body is the worst of the three......but I still plan on building one.
  16. Working on a Meter Cheater right now............................
  17. I'll buy any or all of the Corvair Rods.......
  18. I had to reload the page a few times for the pics to show......host server may be having issues. I'd try later....
  19. I like the spin you are putting on this. Back years ago when Okey Spalding bought what was left of JoHan he had a booth at the RCHTA hobby show in Chicago. One of the new series he was going to produce was a 'Luxo' version of the classic car kits. The new JoHan showed many 'coming' kits at that show....only two ever made it to the shelf.....Rambler surf wagon and snap Turbine car. None of the other saw daylight. I feel you are filling that whole in a way!!
  20. A good life story. Like most of us face....bad things, good things.........so nice to have such a good outcome.
  21. I like obscure Cup cars.....I never saw that one!!!!
  22. I remember that model!!! Always well done!
  23. NICE!!! Are the figures scratch or are they available??
