  1. I am currently travelling in Scotland and today a number of Mustangs passed going in the opposite direction. I wondered if any of them were right hand steering. I pulled into a car park and there happened to be a right hand steering Mustang parked in front of me.
  2. Love that green.
  3. Absolutely excellent to see your outstanding Grand Sport and all the well deserved accolades. Time to be posted Under Glass. Looking forward to seeing your next project.
  4. Scott - Very impressive Grand Sport build especially all the added detail. I am away until mid October so the completion of my GS is still a ways off.
  5. Really neat to see the first and current generation of Broncos side by side. Both are very nice models as well. I went to the Ford dealership to see the first Bronco as soon as it was released and I have been checking out the new ones both the Sport and the bigger one.
  6. Very impressive new school model car building of a recent iconic subject
  7. Thanks Duane - I checked them out and they look very nice. Will require some fancy painting but looking forward to seeing a completed Garage 56 build using these decals. Have a look at 3 Amigos Decals #24 GARAGE 56 2023 CAMARO 24 HOURS OF LE MANS Decal Se – Print it Decals
  8. Gorgeous build of an outstanding kit from MFH
  9. You certainly did justice to one of the most eye catching liveries of F!
  10. First time I have the two versions of the new Bronco side by side - big brother & little brother
  11. I did find some time to work on the engine. It is now painted and assembled except for wiring, plumbing and exhaust. I could not resist seeing if the hood would fit flush. This is the first time I have test fit the completed interior to the chassis and body with the fuel tank installed. I previously mentioned that I had reduced the height of the fuel tank to give clearance for the differential. I am not sure if it was a direct consequence of this modification but I ended up having to trim tabs on the top of the rear frame cross member and the mounting points for the spare tire frame. After these mods were done everything appears to fit and the hood closes flush. You can also see the small triangular extension to the forward edge of the read flares. I notice I still have some work to do on the driver's side cowl vent.
  12. I have always been a fan of show rods. I especially like the photo of your Coupe with your Sedan.
  13. Hey Scott - Like Andrews says "build it and post it". The more the merrier !! Or ay least do your own On The Workbench WIP thread as I have. I am certainly curious about your build as you have obviously well researched the Hall/Penske Grand Sport.
  14. Thanks - I was surprised to see this brought forward. I built as an April Fool's Joke !!
  15. Thanks Pierre - I have started work on the engine and will pay particular attention to fitting the headers. Your observation regarding the taped over hood louvers may initially be correct for Sebring but they also ran it that way at Road America in September 1964 where they raced without windshield wipers indicating rain was not in the forecast. I am not going to get much more done on the Grand Sport until mid-October as I have three trips between now and then, but I will certainly be able to complete it by the March 1, 2024 deadline !!
  16. Thanks Justin - Great description of the Accurate Miniatures Grand Sports as a - "lovely but fussy kit". There is definitely a lot to love about this kit but assembly can be challenging.
  17. Excellent news regarding 32 Sedan and Corvette C8
  18. Could be an MGB I recently saw on the street near by. As always - excellent build and fabulous photography.
  19. Nice project. I will be visiting Mr. Mini Exotic tomorrow and will mention this build to him.
  20. Everything about your build looks just so right.
  21. I used Model Car Garage photo-etch parts where appropriate but basically the interior is pretty much box stock except for the dash which were initially very stark. Most of the engraved extra surface detail was removed. The “glove compartment” was opened and given some inside detail. I used Tamiya Brilliant Blue and French Blue with Flat Clear over top.
  22. I just received 220 today Wednesday August 16 in Victoria BC Canada after reading the digital version which I only learned yesterday that I had access to and drafting an email to subscriptions about the missing issue which I was going to wait until the end of the week to send. Great issue. Thanks to the MCM staff for all your excellent work.
