  1. Fantastic looking Deuce Delivery. Great colour combination. Super nice wheels.
  2. Super good looking Chevy Deuce Hot Rod and very well built. I like it a lot!!
  3. Beautiful model. I have had a couple Deusies in my stash for decades which I still hope to build some day. As a kid my dad helped me build a metal bodied kit.
  4. You really captured the old school show car vibe as did the build of the 1/1 that inspired your model. Bravo
  5. Thanks Dave - I am the same - just getting things together and it will be a while before I have things organized. I will get back to you when I am ready.
  6. It may have been previously covered but I was unable to find guidance for submitting model car show photos and descriptions. I was planning on loading photos onto a DVD along with descriptive, cross-refenced word file descriptions of the models which would also be printed and mailing the package to the magazine. Is there a preferred method for submissions? To whom and to what address should submissions be mailed? Thank you.
  7. Very well done model. C3 Corvettes made great looking race cars. There were many memorable versions. I have built the NART version and would someday like to built the DX, AIR and BFG liveried C3s.
  8. Those AMT kits really are very nice especially for when they were mastered. Your build is very well done. I have two in my stash and have wanted to build one since they came out.
  9. Very cool. Really dig the wheels [where are they from?].
  10. Not what I was expecting to see but glad I had a look. Very well built and good looking Cobra !!
  11. One of my all time favourite Trans-Am racers. Great to see yours in scale.
  12. Very classy looking Deuce.
  13. I have really enjoyed seeing all three of your models recently posted. All are historical and well built.
  14. You certainly did this one justice. Well built.
  15. Check this out regarding the GMC 702 V-12 https://www.macsmotorcitygarage.com/inside-gmcs-mighty-702-cubic-inch-v12/
  16. Thanks Steve for taking and posting your photos because I was so preoccupied I only took the three I posted earlier. Entrants chose their favourite models in each category while the public picked peoples' choice. Many of the favourites can be seen in Steve's photos. Racing Car - Phil Dauphinee - 70 1/2 Camaro Trans-Am, Other Vehicle - Gord Enquist - Model A Planter, Large Scale - Dennis Besler - Kookie T, Small Scale - Phil Dauphinee - 1/32 32 Ford, Over All - Martin Aveyard - 67 GTX, People's Choice - Weathered Dodge Dart. 17. Deuce Days in Scale was a fabulous model car display with a steady stream of spectators all day. There were about 175 models on the tables with an emphasis on Deuces but also cars of all genres 1972 and older. It was a fantastic Deuce Days with something like 500 Deuces parked around the Inner Harbour with another 700+ 1952 vehicles and tens of thousands spectators checking out the fabulous cars.
  18. I really thought Coast to Coast did a great job with their Smoothster inspired bodies. I believe they were based in your part of the country. For my scale version I combined the Smoothster with the Coupster front end
  19. The cars have started to arrive for Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria BC Canada. Every three years Deuce Days is the largest gathering of 32 Fords anywhere plus lots of 1952 and earlier cars. I went downtown for the 9:50 arrival of the Coho ferry from Port Angles Washington. The tide was low so unloading was slow and careful. I will be going back for the 2:15 arrival which is reported to be fully reserved by hot rods. I will be adding to my fotki album all weekend. Sunday is the Deuce Days in Scale Model Car Show which I will post separately. 2022 DEUCE DAYS album | Phildaupho | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. This was the first car off
  20. Great to see these two venerable Deuce roadsters. They are a good warm up for all the Deuces I will be seeing the next four day during Deuce Days in Victoria BC Canada both full scale and model cars.
  21. You really captured the Boyd look which I was very much attracted to back in the day. I did visit his shop in the late 1990's. The Smoothster was there which I think will go down in history as a very significant custom car along with a number of his other builds.
  22. Great looking Model A. Very attractive couple with your Deuce Roadster.
  23. Another very interesting project emerges from your workbench which I look forward to following.
  24. Fantastic build and I really like your photography.
