Looks great Steve. I had a real 68 and a 69 I want to build. I think I'll buy at least one of each issue they do.

Sorry, OP didn't say pickups. -
s That's how they looked in Ohio after one year. Two years and you see through the bed sides.

I'm glad to report that I may actually get this one done, lol I worked on the interior, added a steering wheel and paint detail. The white one on the left is what came in the truck. Got the bottom painted and the axles made. Thanks for looking, comments or questions are welcome

Well, I'm back on this one. After moving I couldn't find my tote of parts that had the wheels, tires and other parts for it. I have found them and ready to go again. I think I decided on going with a medium blue metallic.

1941 WILLYS AMERICAR GASSER 1/18 diecast- back to stock
AzTom replied to f1ford48's topic in Diecast Corner
Not sure how I missed this one. I was lurking for an old post of mine and WOW! This looks great. I posted on my current repaint that I plan on doing this. Now that Acme has a detailed kit coming out with the correct stock headlights I decided now is the time. What did you get the engine from? Thanks -
This is going to be great.

Glad to see you back on this. Are you painting the door and rear interior panels to look like aluminum sheet? -
I'm guessing 1/18, That is some serious model building. Love the style and color.

Nice! I like the wide whites and chrome wheels.

I do. I normally use Dupont Self Etching but I have used other brand with success. On bare diecast it is a must to use self etching as the first coat. I finished it up except for the rear license plate. I have some 1/18 AZ plates made but need to find them. Thanks for looking. Thanks Harry.
