  1. Here are some of mine
  2. One word.... Perfect. One of the best builds I've seen.
  3. Nice work. I would buy that kit for the wheels and tires alone.
  4. You are right, the HiPo 289 I had, had the alluminum intake, and no filler tube. It was in a Mustang, and later in put in a Pinto. I've never seen the 63 vintage. The intake on my 68 J code 302 Mustang was cast iron and look just like the one you have modeled. You are doing some really great work. I look forward to more pictures.
  5. Looks really cool. What is the big tube sticking out of the front of the block, and how come you didn't model the HiPo intake manifold?
  6. Those are great builds. My first car was a Vega so I have a soft spot for them.
  7. The builder is doing a great job. Hope the manifold placement doesn't cause fitment problems with the exhaust.
  8. Looks like Revell messed up on the drivers side head. The plug on the outside of the manifold should be in the very back not the front. Nice detail and weathering.
  9. Thanks guys, I just got back on the forum. I moved from KS to KY last year for a new job right after I posted this one. I still have all my stash packed up. We rented for a year and should be buying a house this fall or early spring. Then I can set up and get back to the bench. Its nice to be back on the forum though.
  10. My Dads drag car My Dads first drag car (I don't have a picture of the real one) My drag car (I am still working on the model)
  11. My first car. (I don't have a picture of it completed) My second car
  12. Finally some one who adds the rear brake hose and lines correctly, the e-brake cables are so great as well. One of THE best models I have ever seen. Thanks so much for posting.
  13. Interesting story, but no wonder he beat the Boss 'stang, he was packin' 48 more cubes...
  14. Looks lean and mean Mark. Nice work as usual.
  15. That's really a nice build. It's what I think Bat Man's family car would look like. Well done. Great color.
  16. This is the Revell Penske Vette kit with some Vintage Racing Miniatures decals and some rear bumpers from the parts box, Other than the decals , embossing powder carpet, PE and tape seat belts, and plug wires its OOTB. Its a nice kit This car is not an accurate rendition of any particular car, its a homogenized paint job and decal application and it has the wrong hood scoop. The pics are a little dark because I waited to late in the day to take them. It's supposed to look clean but raced. The camera made the shut lines look white but they don't look like that in person.
  17. The steerable front wheels are a nice touch Brett
  18. Neat, is it a model of a real car or just similar?
  19. Thanks guys! Bob, those are the kit tires. They have a groove molded in the sidewall which I filled flat blue paint and then buffed off the side wall and applied the letter decals. Roger, the steering wheel and shift knob are painted with MM "Leather" and the seats and dash are painted with Testers "Rubber" both are enamal. The paint for the seats and dash was reduced with laquer thinner and airbrushed the steering wheel and knob were brush painted and then I used a tooth pick to pick out the paint on the steering wheel rivits. Joe. the ink jet printed paint code on the bottom of the can is smeared and I can't read it so I am not able to give you the specific color. Sorry. This is an older build I had never posted on here. I forgot that that was my first attempt at flocking, the tub is flocked but that's why it looks like a begginer did it.
  20. Great build of a really good looking car. Thanks for posting.
  21. Revell kit, Duplicolor paint, kit decals, OOB with plug wires.
