  1. Hey! Quit throwing rocks at us! Just kidding. Merry Christmas
  2. Well uhh.... all I got was some clothing as other than my job I live the life of a reclusive loner and enjoy every minute of it
  3. Wow,that's some of the most detailed model parts I have ever seen
  4. Now that's a good concept.
  5. OMG!!B) We have a winner!
  6. Yeah, but if they said "Cougar crashes Bush property" people would have expected Sarah Palin...
  7. I'm with Felix on this one. Super glue dries clear and sticks to paint very well. The only problem I have had is with the part getting knocked off and taking a chunk of paint with it if the paint isn't adhered to the plastic well.
  8. Good stuff Niko! I too like to build outdoors when I can. There is just no substitute for sunlight.
  9. Wow! That kicks butt!
  10. I have decided to make 2011 a drag racing themed year. I have all the latest Revell funny car releases, the SWC Willys and the Double Dragster as well as the Hemi Dart and I am going to try to build them all next year.
  11. Just more proof that the Hollywood elite really are anti- American.
  12. Another fine model from you Curt . Looks just like the photo of the real one.
  13. That's exactly what I did when I built mine. I hollowed out almost the entire base plate as it was hitting the distributor when it was moved forward to line up with the hood opening. Then I just glued the scoop to the hood - looks fine with the hood shut.
  14. This generated more interest than I expected. The reason I asked this question is because I see the same pics posted on the "other" forum under different names and was curious if someone was stealing others pics . Doesn't seem to be the case but it has happened before. When I first started visiting different forums I found the name oldschool taken on almost all of them so I dropped the H and haven't had that problem since. And besides, it now looks like it is a contraction of "old is cool" which I like. Thanks for all the comments.
  15. Very nice work on two not so easy to build kits.
  16. The grille says it's real
  17. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas. My friends would be elated if I was unable to talk for a few days
  18. The King T and Wild Dream double kit might qualify as pretty rare.
  19. A pleasure to meet you and from your pics you seem like a man after my own heart. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Show us some closeup pics of what you have built.
  20. That's what I was going to say! Everybody on here does great work. Curt Raitz is one of my favorite people on here because of the stories he tells of his childhood. Had we known each other as kids, I'm sure we would have been the best of friends.
  21. A Deuce don't get much better than this .
  22. That's perfect. I miss the colored plastic sometimes - especially the black.
  23. Every one of those is a gem . If I could turn out just one that looked like that in a year I would be happy.
  24. That is a beautiful Mustang and I still paint my window trim by hand or use a silver Sharpie.
