  1. Stunning! G
  2. Got behind a beautifully customised 1950 Ford pick up the other evening in Henderson. Naturally, I was working and so was alone in the car. G
  3. Looking good so far! G
  4. I believe the Monogram version depicted the base truck before the dual rear wheel upgrades from the early 60's. It was a slow night so I surfed the web and found the AFV Club kit is long OOP and couldn't find any listed for sale. I did find that Academy has two versions based on the M35 used by the Koreans. These could/should be relatively easy to finish as US trucks. G
  5. They do kit # 35004 which is an ODS era deuce. Not sure where to find one though as it appears to be in short supply. Like everything else military it's 1/35 scale. G
  6. AFV Club produced a series of kits based on a modern 5ton. I don't recall a deuce and a half, but I'd start with them. G
  7. There are always two........................... G
  8. ^^ What they said ^^ G
  9. 11:10 pm and 55 degrees here in Sin City. The snow cap melted off Mt Charleston already and it looks like another long dry summer. This marks several years of drought conditions now. G
  10. Oldest son now has custody of his daughter. Middle son was certified as a Registered Nurse, he just tripled his salary with that accomplishment. My daughter is almost finished with nursing school. One more year. G
  11. 72 today. I saw a cloud. G
  12. OUTSTANDING! Have you ever built an armor model? G
  13. Very, very nice! G
  14. I personally have no photos, but here's a link to a page that has. http://copcardotcom.fotki.com/contributions_by_state/massachusetts_throu/missouri/dwicar.html G
  15. Supercharger, extra squirrels, downhill with a tail wind LOL! I got lucky with the two pursuits I mentioned. One was against a carjacked Mercury Mountaineer. I had a brand new Impala and a head start on I 55 south bound. They passed the Anheuser Bush brewery complex and I got on them. The suspect driver screwed up by exiting the interstate. Piece of cake after that especially as my best friend was above me in the airship. The second was against a carjacked Nissan Altima. Biggest issue there was the driver kept trying to take a shot at me with a 30-30 rifle. I stayed back and to the right and just ran that lil Nissan into the ground. Ultimately one strategically placed bump to the LR fender did the trick. Really didn't hurt my car at all. G
  16. Thanks Stephen! Joe, both GM and Ford missed the boat with their police packages back then. The Crown Vic really, really needed the 5.4 L from the truck line. These Impalas, well I think they should never have been marketed as a police car. I miss the 9C1 Caprice badly. G
  17. I grew up in Spanish Lake! G
  18. What he said. I'll get to a point, then set it aside for a day. If I come back and like what I see, I quit and move on to the next phase or call it complete. G
  19. Too soon! G
  20. It's what DML is now referring to their line of kits as. They started with the "Imperial Series" which morphed into those elaborate 1000+ piece "Detail" kits. Folks balked at the super detail kits so they "dumbed them down" LOL and call them "Smart kits" now. Truth be told you do get a bunch of extras especially when it's a subject like a Panzer III, which has multiple kits of all the variants. Kind of like a 3 in 1 car kit. G
  21. I got into a shooting on Friday the 13th, in 2002. I'm not leaving the building tonight...... G
  22. This little beauty came today. Holy Moly does it have a lot of parts. G
