  1. Congratulations on your feature Manny. True, Harry did a great job, but so did you. I really enjoyed learning some of the techniques you use to build your excellent wrecked orphans. David G.
  2. Love the hood graphics, great cut-n-paste work! David G.
  3. No matter the size, it's an excellent build! David G.
  4. I fixed it. I went down the filter list and selected each option in turn, logged out then logged back in. That seems to have reset something. All appears to be back to normal- thanks for the input. David G.
  5. I just tried that to no effect, thanks though. David G.
  6. Smooth and Deadly! Nice clean build, great work! David G.
  7. These past couple of days I've had an annoying issue and I don't know if it's a problem with the forum or my IE 64 bit browser. When viewing Forum topics, I usually use the "View New Content" feature. Lately, whenever I use it to access the forum, it automatically selects the "Only Topics I Follow" option in the bottom "Options" section of the filters area. I can deselect this option and get the topics that I haven't read yet, but when I try to advance to any other page than the first one displayed, the "Only Topics I Follow" filter option reloads itself again. This also happens if I manually refresh the page using the browser's refresh button. I've looked at both my browser settings and the profile and content settings on the forum and I can't find anything that seems to address this issue. It's rather annoying to only be able to see the first of the more than twenty pages of new content that I haven't read yet. Is there any body who's experienced this and can share a solution? Help is, of course, appreciated. Thanks, David G.

  14. An excellent "over the top" custom. I saw a lot of this type of customization at the old AutoRama shows in the 70's. David G.
  15. A very cool concept, and well done! David G.
  16. WOW! It looks great. It also kind of looks like a Rolls. Either way, excellent work! David G.
  17. That's a very useful tutorial, thanks for the link. I'll also take a closer look at the kit for those throwbacks you mentioned. David G.
  18. OK... That's just awesome! David G.
  19. That's just cool! Great job David G.
  20. Beautiful work, particularly on the wood. David G.
  21. Thanks for the tip. I'll can refine my research to lean more toward the Millers. Hey, maybe we can turn this thread into the Ecto-1(A) CBP thread! David G.
  22. I picked up my two yesterday and I'm trying to decide if I want to build the first one as an ambulance or a hearse. A hearse would require an extensive modification of the rear area of the interior. An ambulance would require fewer interior mods, but I'd have to scratch-build the emergency lights. Either way, what fun! David G.

Nice build, great paint and color choice! David G.
  24. Your choice of paint is perfect! Though the big-head cartoon guy scares me a little. David G
