Very cool. I have never laid eyes upon an actual Beemax kit, but the last couple of their releases, and now this...may change things. I think the car looks pretty cool as is in the 3D rendering - without livery.
Two things, Rob: 1. Looking forward to the Charger - I looked at those too, and liked the modern touches Foose adds (wheels really). 2. I don't drink beer often, but when I do, I drink Irish Death.
I believe the Revell 2009 Challenger has the best. I kind of remember some research by Bill Engwer (Ace Garageguy) with the other modern hemis being out of scale....?
So this is "that guy's" besty's GF's (best friend's girlfriend's) car, and it didn't look quite nerdy enough - so some whitewalls were in order.
I used vinyl stickers.
"Hold my beer, we'll be right back"
The name of the model will be "Third Wheel".
Got "that guy" installed and now holding precious cargo...two pieces of styrene rod painted polished aluminum.
I hadn't seen the sample pack - would be a good reference piece. The parts aren't really any scale - the ones I purchased are just what they are - 1mm, .8mm etc. - 1mm in 1/24-25 scale is about a 1" bolt.
