This one looks cool! I like the paint scheme a lot and you did nice job with those body modifications. Have to say, that I would not started to convert that body into this, just because it would have been maybe bit too challenging. You did very nice job on it.

Front Axle System is assembled, now for the Camaro and I found good wheel backs from my spare parts box. They needed bit work before I could glue them on but now they fit fine. I had to paint textes from rear tires too before gluing them. Stance is pretty good now.

1-8 scale 69 camaro pro mod (mike hill's car)

The engine and transmission are looking great, as always! This is absolutely incredible build. It's hard to realize, how big it really is so would it be possible to get one picture of that engine with somekind of "normal" thing we use often, like Matchbox? -
This '66 Opel Rekord Gasser Raced here in Finland last weekend. Very cool, I would say.

Thanks! I'm back on the Camaro. I painted Gas Tank gloss black and few details from the chassis are silver now. Also I found correct wheels for this, stripped the chrome plating and painted wheels flat black. Tires needed some work before I fitted those wheels on, but now they fit fine. I painted interior base color too and installed rear axle, but leaf springs need some work still before I can call them done.

Some of the projects going on-Flacon update 5-24-12

Oh, the Drag Look was much better, I think. I think that Those wheels just don't fit under Ford Falcon. Well actually, any wheels what are bigger than 15" look bad. But of course it's your build.... Great paint job anyway. -

Very cool build. I was sure this will be truly amazing since I saw that Topic Title and Poster. You do always some amazing work. Paint looks great and you did nice job with the frame too. Engine looks good already. -
Coolest Chevy Nova, I've seen for a while. Great idea and great build too. Color is nice and fits well on this body. I prefer it gloss than matt colored. Engine looks good too. I need to build something like this too. ...Where did I put my Motor Tool....?

Beautiful Hudson LongRoof. I really like seeing this kind of builds here too, and it's great thing that Jimmy Flintstone has made that kind of body. Your build turned out great and I like the colors on it. Excellent detailing all over.

Wow, that's cool. Love Stockers and Super Stockers. This one turned out great. I like the paint job on it, very smooth and decals fit nicely too. Engine detailing is great and everything looks just so clean.

Oh, and if someone needs reference pictures of '74 Chevelle, just let me know if I can help, since there is one at the garage. -
1/16th 69 Camaro ProMod 7/22/14 motor painted
W-409 replied to Romell R's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
It looks very good, I like the engine. It may look bit rough now for someone's eye, but I know that since I've been working with same methods and I've built one Tube Frame and rear frame from brass. Once primered, everything looks so smooth and much nicer. I can't wait to see for more.- 245 replies

Very nice body work with the GTO! It's always nice to see when someone has enough patience to do bodywork like that. I know that I get usually fed up with it, and then the model might stay on the stash for a long time before it gets back on the bench. Maybe I would paint those wheels like this, they would look more Old School.

1961 RANCHERO GASSER
W-409 replied to SPIKE426's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That's a Cool One! Engine looks good and I like your wheel and tire choice. That's just what I would choose too. Only one thing could be better... The rear end is too low. I would raise it a bit higher, not too much but just a little. It looks good like that too, but it could be better. Anyways you are doing great job with this. -
Here are some pictures from The First Finnish Championchip Drag Racing event of this year: The SONAX SPRING NATIONALS At Motopark!!! W-409 replied to W-409's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Absolutely the Chevelle Front End! It's much better, and yeah, if it's Laguna body, then I don't have any use for it since I can replicate the 1:1 Stocker (which will be on Drag Strips this summer). -
I say Model, those Door Lines just don't look realistic. Otherwise it could be real, I think but it looks more like model, well built model for me.

Great Cobra, I like the look with that top on, just like I did for my Cobra build. This is truly something different, but that's great to see AC Cobras too.
-
Well this one is cool build, even if the kit wasn't top quality, you managed to turn it into Show Winner. Paint job is so shiny and smooth, I like the details all over also.

W-409 replied to MikeMc's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Thanks for the great review of this kit, Doctor! I've been wanting to buy one for long time, but I never had information, what the box includes. It looks and sounds to a very nice kit, so needs to get one. -
Very Cool Ford, I like this one alot. Great job on the weathering, and I like that engine choice too. Blower fits nicely under '40 Ford's hood, and single carburetor looks very good on it too. Detailing is incredible.

I built new Turkey Pan. The base part, I mean that the flat area is from the kit, but those "walls" are built from styrene. After little putty, it looks ready for paint. I also installed spark plug wires. Next I'm going to continue by installing headers and stuff like that.

A Pair of Ferraris 50 years apart (458 and 250SWB)
W-409 replied to Matt Bacon's topic in WIP: Model Cars
This may not be the most interesting subject for me, but you building skills are great! I always enjoy when watching your work, and actually, that Ferrari 250 is pretty nice car. Grille looks great and paint job turned out great. Can't wait to see more progress.
