  1. This looks very good so far, Romell! Very much work behind, and lots of work ahead too, but I think this will be amazing build when finished. Engine looks really good, and wheels and tires are great too. Thanx for sharing this amazing build with us.
  2. Yes they did. It gives some free color choices and stuff like that, and that's great.
  3. Yeah, why not? That looks awesome. Paintjob looks very good and it's very clean build all over, no big mistakes found. The BMF would make it look even better, but it's not bad like that either, I kinda like it like that.
  4. Cool build, that's much cooler version than the orange one. Body looks very good to me, and engine detailing is really nice. Stance is also perfect. Now I can't wait for your next build to come.
  5. Thanks, Jim! That Hemi is great quality, and maybe that's why it looks that good. I'm Chevy guy too, and reference pictures are not so great, because original air cleaners hide too much of the engine details. So don't look too closely so it's not a disapointment if colors etc are wrong. But of course I'm trying my best, and it's great to hear that my pictures help you with your interesting project. T-Bird Engine looks very good too, maybe needs to pick that kit also, since it's good quality.
  6. Oh, there was a kit of Bobby Allison's car too? Didn't know that thing, but needs to Google it. Can you remember anything about the lights (front and rear) and the grille? Especially the quality is interesting.
  7. Thanks Mike and Fred! I'm really interested about seeing that '62 Thunderbird-project. It'll be nice as always, I guess. Little update for the '57 Chrysler. Wheels and tires are finished. I painted wheels with Tamiya red paint, bolts and nuts are aluminium and then I added bit of The Detailer. I think they look pretty good at the moment. Also I bought air cleaners for this yesterday, and now I glued them on their place. Carburetor detailing can be done anyway.
  8. Thanks Billy, that would be cool!
  9. This will be interesting build, I'll be watching for sure. I have body and frame from this kit too, maybe I got inspiration from this thread to start mine too.
  10. Yeah, just like that.
  11. Yeah, thanks both. Clifford, I guess I have pretty much of those pictures what I need, so maybe I can build one Mustang, which is close enough. I've been using Google search, and it has given me many pictures what are really helpful. I'd like to hear some info or pictures about the chassis.
  12. From Local Model Car Contest here in Finland... -2 Trumpeter Display Cases -'32 Ford Roadster (as a prize) -2 Fuel Cells -Air Cleaners for the Cannonball Chrysler -Pro Comp Tachometer -Micro Set -White Putty -And some Resin wheels -Holley Electric Fuel Pump -My dad bought '60 Impala HT with MY Money for my little sister. She's building it now with lots of inspiration.
  13. Finally some more stuff for my Chrysler. Fuel Line is installed, and I started working with those wheels and tires. Wheels are resin castings by Marko Piironen and they are great quality. Bit of sanding the tire and wheels fit perfectly.
  14. Some more progress with the Torino, I assembled cylinder heads and intake manifold and oil pan. Transmission is also painted. I removed fuel pump from that timing chain cover, and I will make one electric fuel pump later, but that part is now ready for primer and blue paint.
  15. Yeah, little accident happened with this model on the last contest. The Flip-body was open, and it fell down. Windshield and the Firebird Decal got some damage, but I fixed them as good as I could. Especially that decal is not as good as it was, but I guess it's better than nothing. Took some outside pictures too, here you go.
  16. Hopefully the first burnout is something like this... Fast Freddy From Sweden! Tires looks great, can't wait to see more. This is really impressive Daytona build.
  17. Turned out very nice Chevrolet Van! Cool, those decals look like traditional '70's stuff, and paintjob is great. Nice detailing too. Maybe this kit would be great to have.
  18. I build mostly Old School stuff, but Stockers are today's technology, because otherwise they could be in the ladder if they were 1:1 size. So they would be too slow then. But other than those, I build only Old School, and for example big wheels are something, I'm not using. I've sold every set of them away when some model kit has them.
  19. That engine looks incredible, very nice detailing and cleanly built engine. I've always liked of building engines the best, and maybe that's why I like this so much. Beautiful job overall, as always.
  20. Great Corvette. I like seeing these old Race cars being built too and this looks amazing. Paintjob looks good, and detailing is great all over.
  21. Thanks guys! McLaren looks very good too, and can't wait to see pictures from the Corvette. I have some work done for the wheels of that Corvette, but I post picture later, as I get my camera back.
  22. Cool Charger NASCAR! Build was great to follow, and you did amazing job with the bodywork and painting. Decals are great too and tires look good. Thanks for sharing this awesome build, Charger is looking good as a Nascar racer. I took this bad quality picture last winter at Daytona Speedway.
  23. Nova is looking great so far. Body is great in primer, and that scoop fits nicely to Nova body shapes. I like the chassis too. Painting is great, and I would say that you make this things looks so easy to do, even if they aren't so easy.
  24. Nice build again, Darryl! I really like Altereds and this looks just right. Wheels are perfect, especially in the front. Where are they from? Engine detailing is great, and I like the painting.
