From the pics, it looks like the box has lots of parts for it. looks like no engine for it because the hood is molded in. so it must have a good amount of interior parts. maybe a shotgun, radio, police dog. quality of the kit is good. I would have to say nice find. now if the price was right, you've got a winner.

Just finished another one

Hey Harry, Mick said Keith had one until he smashed it into a tree at his ranch. He was smashed on Vodka running down the chickens around the ranch and ran straight on into a eucliptius tree, when Mick got over to him, he had a bloody mouth and his only tooth was knocked out. but he was laughing and his bottle of vodka he was holding was not even broken, I don't think he spilled a drop. They took him back to the house, He rinsed his mouth out with a can of Fosters and was good to go for the concert later that night. Ron Wood

What brings you to this forum?
RJWood replied to lonewolf's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
This is the first site I came to when I finally got my computer, about a year and a few months ago. and I visit on a daily basis, sometime just lurking. I also have a Play Station Portable that I use at work, (free Internet, I love it) and I visit during lunch. This Model Cars Magazine forum is like going to a club meeting. the atmosphere is friendly, everyone shares there how to's and great tips. I do however go over to that other site to look around but I always have my sweatshirt hood up, and pants saggin' down, you also need to adopt a thug like attitude, then your O.K. for a half hour or so. But I never go a day without my M.C.M. Forums. Addicted Yes, and with 400 cable T.V. channels, I still can't find much to watch on the teli. My wife loves it, she knows where I'm at all the time. He's in his model room, or He's on the computer. Overall this forum has the best people. All you guys that have posted a reply to this topic, I admire and respect very much. Its the people, Respecting each other and Supporting each other. Thats what brings me to this forum. -
Nice find Marc, It looked to be complete and in good shape. I like what you have planed for that one. can't wait to see more progress. Ron

Nice Buick, I have that kit in my stash. Can't wait to start it. Yours came out great and that Mustang behind it looks sharp too.
-
Mick and I both agree, its real. Mick says he thinks he has one like it back at his Statfordshire home. He calls it "Angie"

As old as the kit is, it has great detail on the parts & body. What is on the other side of the instructions? Thanks, Ron

Something around here smells like an old fart
RJWood replied to Steve D.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was wondering what that smell was, I will be omiting the same old smell in 5 more months, so I gotta get used to it. LOL, Have a Happy Birthday and a great many more to come. were not getting older, were getting better. Cheers, Ron. -
Strangly enough, it looks as though it may have been better to have missed out on the previous release. I just can't get over the box art work on this kit. Brilliant!

The pics are showing up now. Nice unique project. can't wait to see more progress. keep up the good work.

Hello, and welcome drgplstc. Your chopper looks great. Those Revell chopper kits are fun to build. what are you going to build next? Your pics aren't too bad, I've seen much worse, like some of mine. Anyway, good to have you join up with us plastic freeks. And one more thing, the forum requires you to put your real name in the signature area, like mine is at the bottom of this page. good to have you here my friend.

Real or Model...Take 2 FINISHED!!!
RJWood replied to Harry P.'s topic in Real or Model? / Auto ID Quiz
All Mick could do was prance around in his skivies saying he was the model, and Charlie?, Charlie just sat there stairing into space. I think he fell asleep, so I took the cigarette from his fingers, grabbed a Turkey leg and a Fosters and left. -

Great work, the paint and decals are perfect. The rims, from SMBC, did they come already chromed? Thanks Ron

For the amount you get, the price is not that bad. I'm gonna be on the look-out for the flowable finishing putty. Thanks Bro.

The only contest that I ever entered was 38 years ago. And I won the Grand Prize. It was a local Hobby shop, just a few blocks from my house. I was 12 years old then, and had entered my "Snake" Funny Car. I did a good job with it, looked as good as the box art model, at least thats what I thought. I would go by the store and see my model there sitting in the window with some of the other entries. (the store had all the entries in the window for the week prior to the contest, pretty cool Idea) The day of the contest I was there (early couldent wait) and then came the winner they drew my name first, I was happy to win but dident expect this would be the way to do it. But through it all the one small thing that made it so special to me was something that another contestant said on seeing my model which was; " At least his model looks good enough to win". And 38 years later the Grand Prize & Model are long gone but I still remember that contest and the kind words of another modeler. The words alone to a 12 year old were the real prize, the contest? it was just a raffle. It was a few years after that when another hobby drew my attention away, GIRLS,GIRLS,GIRLS....pretty hair and finger tips GIRLS,GIRLS,GIRLS. whoops, I still get carried away thinking about em'. Shhhh dont let my wife here....LOL Ron
