  1. Stopped at Meijer this a.m. In the die cast, they had a couple with James Bond 1/24 cars so for curiousity, I liked the Aston Martin but grabbed the Mustang to price scan it. $24.99!! It's a made by Motor Max and appears to be the same one that was at WM for $10!
  2. That is awesome!! Huge fan of the old Cadillacs
  3. The swap meet is monthly (except for November). These are from a previous show. Both open/complete.
  4. Judge Harry T. Stone's biologial dad Buddy Ryan (John Astin) is 93......but I'm feeling much better now!"
  5. Swap meet yesterday.....cant walk away from a mighty Chrysler!
  6. The mighty oak tree may have just signed its death warrant as the roots found the sewer line.....again. It's a 60 year old plus tree but the original owners planted it over the sewer line out to the street. The plumber has augured it out but it's become more frequent. Never really had any problems until the toliet died and it was replaced with a low flush 1.6 gallon toilet. Our neighbor had a liner put in her line years ago but it was $4k. I suspect the cost to install a liner would be about the same to take the tree down so I think its time to go.
  7. C1500 454SS - sealed inside. swap meet find Hardcastle & McCormick - open but complete. Wasn't looking for this kit but caught my eye. swap meet find Force 440 - open, missing wheels/tires, but everything else is there. Auction win
  8. Stole a Civic to ram the door? Apparently doesn't watch the news that the Tahoe/Suburban is the vehicle of choice for these types of entries.
  9. After a three or four year hiatus, Greenlights had their open house this year. Grabbed a couple 1/18's
  10. $10 at a toy collectible store. Engine assembled and bed painted.....not sure if complete. I wanted it for the plow and the chassis/drivetrain
  11. Probably overpaid but never seen a Torino promo and the only one on fleaBay was in blue. Small knick on the roof by the A-pillar. Not sure the GTO has seen the light of day since it was made.
  12. The Bronco has landed at Hobby Lobby! (Hit the shelf last night according to the cashier)
  13. Apparently the latest version of Covid is highly contagious as it finally got me.
  14. Anyone tried these? Decent selection of colors. Doesn't say if its acrylic
  15. You have to admire a man that passed at the beginning of a three day weekend for us to mourn and detox before going back to work on Tuesday. Absolutely no disrespect intended or implied! Back when concert tickets were not several days wage, I attended five of his shows through the years....not a bad one in the bunch!
  16. Stumbled across this Indy show earlier in the week on Facebook. GM had me hooked when they talked of importing the Holden Ute but they bailed shortly afterwards and winding down Pontiac all together.
  17. RIP Mayor of Margaritaville! Thank you for the music.....and the books.......and the restaurants! Nothing punishes the toilet like their Volcano Nachos!!
  18. Dayton (DieCast) Toy show.... AMT Garbage truck...F/S $50 AMT Ranger Splash....box beyond rough but appears complete $5
  19. On the six months following my 25th birthday, I tore the miniscus in my knee playing tennis, had to get the wisdom teeth cut out and had to finally get glassed. 30...40...50...55....all been a walk as the body went into the dumper at 25. JImmy Buffett sang of treating his body, not like a temple, but like a tent.....I'm treating mine like a frat house. Enjoy your birthday!!
  20. NIce to see an Ollie's that doesn't look like a post Black Friday sale!
  21. My hometown is having it's annual Taste of {city} in a couple weeks. This years main feature.....food trucks! Either the city leaders missed the point of having a Taste of our city or its time to rename it
  22. We had my teenager in summer baseball and he wanted to develop more pitches so can do more innings. We found a coach that knew him from summer ball and said he would work with him. The wife usually takes him to the complex but I did last week. They had another person coaching a young man on hitting. After his session, that coach came over to watch my son. I guess I shouldn't have pointed out that person was #15 of the Big Red Machine....left fielder George Foster. He told me on the drive home his anxiety level kinda maxed when he came over. Truly one of the nicest people I've ever met....
