  1. I am what I hope is six more years to retire and in my mind that is when I actually plan to sit down and work on a kit a couple there days a week... I must say being a plate collector myself that your collection sounds mighty impressive would like to see a picture of that, I too have many plates that need to be hung...oh well someday...
  2. John first of all I am glad you are okay and glad you didn't take a chance and did go to er because you never know ...... I too have had similar experiences about once a year and nothing shows, done all test minus heart cath and still nothing found but after test after test finally doc feels that mine are related to a combo of my acid reflux and stress mind ...mind you i am not suggesting that this is what you have and please do as you have been and don't take chances so you can enjoy them grand babies and so that they can enjoy you too
  3. Bob Paeth passed away 10 years ago 10/26/08,shortly after this original post was made. In my opinion and to others he was considered a huge icon and highly respected in this hobby and for those who have such treasures as these are very fortunate ...
  4. ^^^ Hey Bill Look!!!! We do agree on something once and a while!!! I agree with you wholeheartedly on the last two you posted

  6. I hid the thread to clean up some unnecessary comments to keep this thread of good info on track and apparently the hamster on the internet here at work died and I lost connection,I have since un-hid and I am sorry for any confusion of inconvenience this may have caused so with that please read on and add all the useful info to the thread and please keep it on track ..... I now return you to your regularly scheduled program ...
  7. Another for me,Bree Joanna Alice Robinson aka Brody Dalle ,best known from the "Distillers" and I can testify despite her appearance to some is a class act of at least to me and my daughter....going back to the MySpace days I posted a small video and blog if you will of my daughter rockin' out to "The Hunger" in her car seat and somehow, someway someone forward it to the Distillers page and she wrote to us to tell Baby Girl how great it was and appreciated the following etc. and later sent some items for her and they kept in contact off n on for a while and I personally always like Brody's style so here are a few of the many faces of Brody..
  8. Both of these are Japanese actresses ,first one was a childhood crush and well ya still is Hiroko Sakurai ,she played Fuji on the '66 SiFi Ultraman .....and second Satou Yasue from various films, singer, dancer but mainly in the U.S. known for Nagi on Ultraman Nexus

  14. Okay this is a bit Junior High going on and it needs to stop......people have different taste from others, just because you like someones looks doesn't necessary mean you are right and that the other persons taste is wrong,my God when you start making fun of a certain person with the stuff you are posting then you too are making fun of that person who may like that celebrity ...granted I don't agree with some of the ones posted here as beauties but what I may find attractive may not be to you...beauty is in the eye of the beholder so lets PLEASE keep this on track of the original post and be civil about it before this just ends up as a thread that was fun and got ugly and locked...so yes I did away with a few of these off the wall comment pics..
  15. This is correct both ways argent/silver and body color depending on trim packages, most argent/silver but not limited to were usually found on the "Custom Cab" and painted again not limited to usually used body color.....As in the above pictures of my 1:1 is body color and my '66 is a survivor with original paint (except for right door and fender) and sometimes with Ford you would see some of the trucks flip flop with the silver/body colors.
  16. Sent this to admin to look into it ....
  17. 21. Yes sir!!! born and raised,Otie's was the place in the day and what more can you say about "Akron" Arlen Vanke and also Akron was the home of Knafel Pontiac Home of the "Tin Indians" .....Met Otis "Otie" Smith when I was very young as my dad would service their office machines and he would always give me a pack of Lance cookies!! and can't forget Art Arfons,my mom knew Art through friends and mom would tell me about this guy named Art and he had a car "Green Monster" well being 4-5 yrs. old I had a totally different vision in my head when I met the man and at all places, the main office at Goodyear where my mom worked in the 60's,at that time he was backed by Firestone but his brother Walt was backed by Goodyear and mom took me to work one afternoon and in walked Art,he was there to meet his brother that I assume had a meeting with execs of something, stopped to just pay a visit to my mom and friend and she introduced me to him and he was just so cool I though and before he left that's when I found out the Green Monster looked not like I thought,he came back in with a shiny Black and White 8x10 photo of it and gave it to me unfortunately we had a house fire many years later and that picture was one of the many things we lost...... Good times..............that's why I love ScottRods, they still kinda give you that 'Good ole days" feel when you go and see them run.......
