Being '65 was the first year for the all new Twin I Beam I would say it will be just that....

This thread is locked,it has got to the point it is flat out ugly and it will not get anywhere with this kind of responses,I too have opinions,fact and quit sure possibly some misleading info but instead of trying to prove who is right or wrong and who knows the most , I decided to just try to enjoy the pictures of what the post was intended on ,instead it's basically giving the forum a black eye.....

There is a quite a few here in my area that run the Gasser circuit and most is headed by Don Moyer, a guy that lives , breaths Gassers and has a few of his own and one being a legend from the past.....here is a awesome vid of a group I am proud to say I follow and keep tabs on "Scottrods AA/Gassers",they are a true first class act and I am a huge fan of Martin Stead Jr. in da' green '41 Willys which puts on a awesome performance @11:32 mark.....Enjoy...

Mine is a '66 Styleside and if this is being ripped to shreds elsewhere is a bit much,it looks purdy dang close too me...

Oh Oh Oh and Oh !!!!!! What a beauty,love the color and this has to be one of nicest done of this kit....

I love when you see the younger generation get into the hobby and as far as his paint work goes "Fantastic!!!" ....I wish I could get that kinda turn out yet today!

This statement just sums it up perfect,couldn't agree more.......... just like anything else.nothing stays on subject...example: Last week went to a swap meet with a friend and while we were talking cars n such but we also talked family etc.....I went through a rough'ish divorce 10 years ago with the fear of having my then 6 yr old daughter moving out and I knew I wanted her to stay with me and with this section I had much encouragement to help me emotionally ....so yeah it is in my opinion a great part of the forum.........

It looks like the old AMT NASCAR series from the 90's if I remember right but to be honest I haven't seen one of those kits since they came out way back when

Well well well Bill when you come back you sure know how to get every ones attention,I am not the one who banned you ~but~ if I got to your so call humorous remark you better believe I would have done the same.....I am sure I am gonna get banned,points or what ever for what I am about to say but I am sick of having to listen to this stuff over and over usually the same members complaining that their rights have been taken away and the fact as you some snowflake gets hurt well her its is Jack...you need to GROW UP as well,you constantly want to complain about the mods and the poor job they do and how the double standards are always going on,you yourself just thought you could slightly stick in ….really?????? again lets see how Bill can push the rules,simple rules I may ad but RULES which you accepted when you joined the forums as well as the rest of you,DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!! and further more yes Harry was awesome indeed,I loved the guy as much if not more as the next but to keep bring up the fact of how he was this and he was that is ludicrous,he is no longer a mod and none of us 4 claim to be him or better but I said it before and I am gonna say it again,this mod job IS NOT EASY and we cant enjoy the forum as you because we have to babysit things like this and make decisions on whats right and what isn't but NOOOOOOOOO you sit behind you screen and act all knowing and all Mr.tough guy and argue and argue about how wrong we are and then your faithful followers chime in and make it that much more difficult ...This is a MODEL FORUM ...its about models.....so my advice to you is follow the rules and go build a model or start your own forum and have at it and see how flippin' easy that is.....again I am sure this will be my last as a mod because the board is gonna light up on our end because of your post and mine.....all I can say now is Bill and you too Joe,I wish you the best of luck and we will see who gets banned first,my money is on me...….and its been real....as Paul Harvey would say "Good Day"

I am a Ford man but in my heart was/is/and will be a Gen 2 Camaro big block 4 speed.....2 years ago one showed up at a local car show was done exactly how I would want it.....

I have had nothing but good from Jerry,all the decals I have purchased have been top quality.

Heck I want a real one like that!! Love the "rust" detail.

EBay still may be the answer if you could get someone to help with packing and ship out,there was a similar example where a dear member left us and his daughter did a eBay on them and she did quite well and the kits did get a good home she even posted a link here to eBay also as far as shipping out goes a idea would be put a not in the listing that shipping would only be once a week i.e. Monday or what ever could work out well.....just a thought and I really do wish you nothing but good with your health.....

That sweet lookin' Willys is a awesome sight to see run in person,it belongs to a super cool car guy Don Moyer...he has some very trick Gassers n Drag Cars...he also heads the Hot Rod Asylum at the IX Piston Powered Show which I had the pleasure of having my '66 in that section...Yeah DON is a class act.

Wow to cool,I can honestly say I was just thinking about this contest the other day being I did enter this very one and I was 14 ..... I was kinda thinking about my dad who passed a lil' over 2 years ago and I remember back then I was grounded for 2 weeks for lying to my mom and part of the grounding I couldn't buy or work on my kits and my dad always stuck to his guns and never budged when it came down to a ruling but he overheard me telling my mom that I so wanted to get a model truck and enter this contest and she said I should of thought of that before I lied.....well 2 days later my dad said "Come on lets go"....."where?" I asked, him being a ex drill sergeant said "Don't ask questions,just do it" so I did and we ended up at the hobby shop and he said "get your truck and supplies you need for that contest and build a winner" ...wow... I couldn't believe it so I got the Road Boss and blue and orange spray bombs to build a Roadway truck and went home and went to work on it,mind you I was still grounded but I was allowed this one slight parole ....... The truck wasn't anywhere near contest material but that was the first and only dad gave in to a punishment ,I didnt' win anything from AMT but I did win a Purdy nice memory of my dad
