Say what you will about the man,think what you want to think about him.....BUT to me and especially my Baby Girl he is and always will be the greatest ever.....my daughter has been a huge ,HUGE fan of John Force even to the point she is a die hard blue blood pumpin' Ford fan,she still followed him when Ford got stupid and Chevrolet took him on,Heck she has even said if he was younger and she was older she would give Lori a run for her money lol...... The story goes ...we got 2 passes to Summit's Norwalk raceway for this past Friday compliments of DSR/NAPA hospitality quest and when we just turned into the tracks parking area Bev started to tear up and she said "I am about to cry because I know John Force is out there somewhere and I finally get to be in the same place as him" (she has never seen a funny car event or John Force for that matter in person).....I explained to her that there is a good chance you will not get up close to him if at all and she said "it don't matter as long as I get to see him run and I am on the same ground as him"....so we walk around find his trailer and proceeded to watch the crew wrench away and it was getting close to time to head to Capps trailer for the dinner and meet and we started to walk away when Bev said "OHHHH MY God is that who I think it is..IT IS!! IT IS!!" out came John to work with the crew and Bev asked if we could stay longer and I said "We got allllll day Baby Girl,as long as you like"....well the video show the rest minus the part where he takes off the hat on his head and signs it and puts it on her head....If you listen you can hear her crying from the excitement and you hear John ask her "What's wrong?" and she answers "You're my idol" he takes her phone from her and the rest is history and a moment of her dreams come true......This is one happy and trilled dad for sure..... received_1726339864086797.mp4

My son did the same thing,last year he built his dream car '69 Nova and said the same thing that he wanted to re-do it and I convinced him to buy another and build it and compare his work and which he did and he is now glad he did so I glad you made the right choice!
