  1. Very cool. You really should finish it. Looks like you have a great start.
  2. Nice work. How about some pictures of the six?
  3. I want to make it clear I am not critizing the moderating. I jus4t can't see that more work needs to be made for the mods than necessay when some guidelines would help reduce the posting in the wrong areas. Also I think that the report function be reserved for people getting out of hand and some others means be used for dealing with the inevitable missing posting of topics.
  4. A clarification is needed for site usage. Since Harrys passing the general section has turned into a total jumble of topics. At times off topics showed up. More and more general modeling questions are showing up rather than being put where they belong. Other non related topics are showing up in general. Maybe another button could be created for flagging off topic items could be flagged. It should be seperate from flagging inappropriate behavior. Also the mention of emodelcars needs to removed. It has not existed for a long time.
  5. Wow those pictures of carbs and maniold are stunning. Tho6ght I was looking at your reference pictures at first.
  6. Sorry but this is not practical. Gregg has said he needs $10k to print 1 issue, so for 6 issues that is $60k. Subscriptions alone are not going to cut it. Second you can't just pull a figure out of the air like $10. There are 16k plus members on the forum however not all are active. Some are no longer active for one reason or another. Second how many are going to be willing to pay, that is going to determine what needs to be charged for the magazine and forum to survive. . Another factor what about the people who are contributing to the forum. You shouldn't charge them they are the ones bringing others to the site. Also most are going to expect the magazine in a timely manner and not having a schedule isn't very practical. You certainly are going to have problems attracting advertisers with no set schedule. Don't get me wrong I want Gregg to succeed. However the practical aspects have to be addressed.

Nicely done. Very clean. Very cool little cars.
  11. That is one crazy looking tractor. If you build one it is definitely going to stand out on a table at a model show. It would be cool if someone built a model version of it.
  12. The engine detailing is amazing. Glad you are back on this one.
  13. Nicely done.
  14. Two things. Our big fire is well contained and the evacutation warnings have been lifted. Second my Niece passed her real estate brokers test.
  15. Really nice work on the bot. Impressed on how much detail for the size. I also saw it in the theaters. It was a fun movie. Worth tracking down.
  16. Nice work. Great fabrication work. Interesting concept.

  18. Nicely done. Looks great with the longer pickup box.
  19. Funny I must have been following a different post. Haven't seen any ballistic posts from the custom car and hot rod guys I have seen numerous posts saying that variety is the spice of life and people enjoying building what they like. Well need to get back to chopping that rare Cadillac kit and posting every slice and dice in excruciating detail.
  20. Very cool. Definitely will be following.
  21. The neat thing about modeling is the wide variety of subject matter. It can go from whimsical to museum quality replicas. It would be boring if everyone built the same thing. Its also fun to see other interpretation of automobiles. The point is to have fun and enjoy what you built. As with the variety of subject is the variety of style in presenting a work in progress. The point is share ideas and techniques. Again if everybody did things the same way it would be boring. My advice is look for those who build the style and present the wip in the format you want. Just be aware that you are going to miss a lot of great stuff by limiting what you look at.
