Very nice. Superclean. Nicely done. -
Not really a rare kit it been reissued a number of times. My guess is ten dollars given the condition of box, decals and chrome.

Does anyone know who the chassis builder was for the Ivo car?.

This is the AMT kit used for the Prudhomme kit just release ! The spirit of 76 was based on the garlits kit. They are not the same kit. d.

Thanks for the photos Wayne. After seeing the pictures that this kit is not based on the mpc(garlits) but an AMT tooling. Don't know wether it was based on a curentchassis builder of the time. The was also an MPC version of the wedge dragster based of the Garlits kit. As far as price some of the newer round 2 kits have been a lot more expensive than some of the all new tooling. I think the stratagy is that a lot of these kits will be bought by collectors of Prudhomme memorabilia and never opened or built.

guidelines needed for forum use
bobthehobbyguy replied to bobthehobbyguy's topic in How To Use This Board
I want to make it clear I am not critizing the moderating. I jus4t can't see that more work needs to be made for the mods than necessay when some guidelines would help reduce the posting in the wrong areas. Also I think that the report function be reserved for people getting out of hand and some others means be used for dealing with the inevitable missing posting of topics. -
A clarification is needed for site usage. Since Harrys passing the general section has turned into a total jumble of topics. At times off topics showed up. More and more general modeling questions are showing up rather than being put where they belong. Other non related topics are showing up in general. Maybe another button could be created for flagging off topic items could be flagged. It should be seperate from flagging inappropriate behavior. Also the mention of emodelcars needs to removed. It has not existed for a long time.
