  1. Have to ask the question why would you open the doors since the interior is quite visible. If you really are set on opening the doors I would get the floor glued to the body that way without the doors it will be a stronger unit.
  2. I'm using Google safari on my iphone and Google Chrome on me android tablets and not having any issues. It will help Dave if you can indicate what browser you are using and what operating system.
  3. I watched the Price is Right for years when Bob Barker hosted it. Just wasn't the same when Drew Carey took it over. Barker knew how to build some suspense however Carey just seemed to go through the motions.
  4. True or false there are many people in the world today that don't visit reality very often.
  5. Unfortunately that is only a cosmetic fix. The problem is the bots can post once for every minute. Several bots could flood the board in a short time. Something needs to be implemented enter to prevent that.
  6. I would suggest to make it less painful that oncea few post have been made to turn off the new moderation. That way the bots can't flood the board with spam. Since the typical pattern is the best bots sign up and then blast away. Not sure if something similar could be done to eliminate the WTB SCAM.
  7. There is a thread in how to use the board section. Dan has cleaned it up for now.
  8. Might help if the moderation requirement is reinstated for new members. Also is there a way to restrict the pm for new members as we seem to be the WTB scam popping up again. At least temporarily to save the mods from having to clean this mess up.
  9. Went into the garage to find my 27 year old water heater gave up the ghost. $1300 later I've got a new water heater.
  10. I've seen a couple of articles about low damage cars being totaled. It's not just limited to EVs. The problem is all of the complex electronics in the cars today, a good shop can evaluate physical damage fairly accurately in most cases. It is a lot moredifficult to know how much damage has been done to all the sensors. In addition simple things like an wheel alignment can can twice as long becuase those systems need to be recalibrated.
  11. Dave Hill an extraordinary model builder and hot rod. Always did versions of hot rods that should have been. Also was an early adopted of digital art to create his concept. RIP Dave. My condolences to his family and friends.
  12. Most excited about the 1932 Ford sedan. Although I'm not interested I do hope they do a good job with the corvette.
  13. Rules are meant to be broken is something that some believe is their right.
  14. Yup there were lots of stores selling models. The production runs then put what is done today to shame.
  15. Hope you guys made it through with minimal property damage. It was fortunate that the storm did not hit with stronger force. Weather prediction is always Imprecise and things always have the potential for a major disaster. Given the fact that our building codes are designed to minimize the damage from an earthquake rather than hurricanes. Just as building codes back east are designed for hurricanes rather than earthquakes. A significant earthquake on the east coast could be devasting for the same reason.
  16. It amazes me at how gullible people are these days that people are willing to accept things that are not based on facts.
