Congrats on your birthday. Here's to you having many more..
Just think the next birthday that will be the same whether you look at it right side up or upside down will be 96.
If it were me I would clean off the dust and reassemble it. It is a time capsule of your dad's work and yours and deserves to be kept in that condition.
Since it an available kit get a new one and build a modern version of it today to be shown side by side.
I agree. Wait till you can get one of those brands. One problem with low quality products is they don't always work. Which could be very frustrating when starting out.
Second what issues are you having with the testors airbrush. You might try searching on YouTube for videos on trouble shooting that airbrush. What are you using for an air supply for the testors.
I'd say build a fresh kit. If it's one of your old builds it's a snapshot of your skills when it's built.

One thing to consider if you are using automotive lacquer is when you hit it with primer you might have the ghosting come back. If you brush on liquid glue and then side it will help.

If there are issues with vendors we need to be made aware. Too often we think we are the only ones with a problem. Besides if it had been only a few weeks that is one thing, four months is time for concern.
I agree. His automotive knowledge is outstanding and when he has time to work on his projects there is always something to be learned. Hopefully we will here from him soon.
I know that Bill has been moving to his new place in Arizona but wanted to know if that was the case. Just want to make sure he isn't having health issues
I got rid of paid TV in 2016 for the same reasons. Too many ads and the content that was being created wasn't worth the price. Don't miss it in the least. Occasionally I watch my sisters house and they have cable. Haven't seen anything to change my mind at this point.
