Hobby Lobby
bobthehobbyguy replied to Mike 1017's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yup there were lots of stores selling models. The production runs then put what is done today to shame. -

Hope you guys made it through with minimal property damage. It was fortunate that the storm did not hit with stronger force. Weather prediction is always Imprecise and things always have the potential for a major disaster. Given the fact that our building codes are designed to minimize the damage from an earthquake rather than hurricanes. Just as building codes back east are designed for hurricanes rather than earthquakes. A significant earthquake on the east coast could be devasting for the same reason.

It amazes me at how gullible people are these days that people are willing to accept things that are not based on facts.

I understand your point. But he has a process and philosphy for his builds. Step one select parts for selected version. Step two do a temporary build with white glue. His next step is fixing any issues before final assembly and check work. Only then will he start permanent assembling parts. This is his process for assembly.

Huge spider living by my door.
bobthehobbyguy replied to JollySipper's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
If the spider is outside the house I'd leave them along. Spiders eliminate bugs that are pests. If they are eliminated then those pests are going to become a problem. -
Th the engine parts and why he does a full white glue assembly.Wasn't saying anybody was going to stop watching. I do think it will be interesting to see if he makes corrections to the rear end and engine assembly. Also the more you deviate from doingng a full test assembly I think there is more of a chance of having an assembly issue. Also somebody could ask him if he's had issues wi

What was the missing part and which was the duplicate?

It is poor taste but it is not against the rules. " General discussions on anything EXCEPT politics or religion! Keep it clean... all forum rules apply!" Typical gallows humor Which is no worse than some of the post after the Titan submersible implosion.
