The Push for Permanent "Daylight Saving" Time

First off no matter what is done somebody is going to want things done differently. Second I have much more important things to concern myself with than this. Third a perk of being retired is not having to get up at a precise time except for the occasional dr appt. Spent too many years a slave of an alarm clock. -
Nothing new. When gas prices were high the last time I heard they were punching a whole in the gas tank with a screw driver and catching the gas in a container. Takes less time than siphoning and is less obvious. In addition you have the insult of losing a tank of gas but also the cost to repair or replace the gas tank.

A stunning model. -
Hey I feel for those who have to commute every day. Me I'm retired so I'll restrict how much I drive. Other than that I can't see dwelling on this. I can't see wasting my energy on something that I'm not going to change. I'd rather put my energy into the things I enjoy doing. Modeling for one.

Hey another example of corporate cost cutting without thinking it through. 1) we don't have to reprint menus every time we want to change prices. 2) we can change the prices throughout the day Hey its a win-win. And hey if this works we can get rid of printed menus all together. Even more savings. All in the decision chain knows everybody has a cell phone. However none knows that everyone doesn't have a smart phone.
-
Exactly. Your phone provider is giving lip service to providing customer service. They are hoping you will give up and buy a phone or go somewhere else. They certainly don't care how much of your time they waste.
-
Not all the blame go to the employees. The corporate mentality has contributed to the quality issues. Poor training and lack of commitment have had an impact on quality. Also the relentless pursuit of imagined cost savings. Bet GM thought they were saving money changing the ignition switch springs to make them cheaper and not bothering to change the part number. We all know how well that worked.

Nice start. Model building is an artistic endeavor and also a course in problem solving. I'd say you're off to a great start. -

Another option would be the mooneyes dragster built with a color scheme that would match the hauler. -
