  1. Yep,as I said in the first post, just stock.. with police lights, siren and decals as the only "options"
  2. Just picked one up....stock or police only. Nicely printed white walls seem new, otherwise the same overall kit as the woodie and convertible, the roof crown seems a little flat to me but not serious enuff to complain about. A street rod version would be more appealing to me than the police car tho...
  3. Frankly..given your perceptions of young children, it might be best for both of you to stay away ftom him. If you have no understanding or interst in what chilhood is about, then you really have nothing to offer him and he'll know it. I suspect your sister can sense your disinterest so you may want to be honest with her. Waiting until he matures to your satisfaction isn't really the way to build a healthy relationship with him. Too bad you feel like you do but....adults that were unhappy as children often have trouble relating to kids in a positive manner. Good luck though if you decide to put out the effort to know and respect him as a member of your family.
  4. Very nice... but the "freestanding" spare tire is a little distracting to me.
  5. "Lot easier to put a scare into folks who have had a little problem in the past, and people are terrified of the IRS in general" IF they've had dealings with the IRS before, they'd know it doesn't operate this way. Only people that don't know how the IRS works would be "terrified" by it..
  6. It's a kit that came out 20+ years ago,so yes lots of them have been built. It has some proportion problems with the front fender shapes, but if you don't know what 59 Cadillacs look like, it passes. Orherwise it's a very nice kit,as is the hardtop version. Might be a bit complicated for a beginner tho.....
  7. Great how to! I'm surprized you didn't have to lengthen the top or slant the a pillars...looks great! Too bad this isn't gonna be more of a traditional car.....
  8. While I don't have any of those kits...relocating the stub axle on the spindle should do the trick, no?
  9. Very nice... good to see a builder that knows radiator cores aren't chrome.
  10. very nice!
  11. Very nice job.... but that's not a "panel truck" it's a sedan delivery.
  12. Nice chop and stance... not much of a billet fan but the brightest red paint you can find would work too..even without "graphics".
  13. Braggarts and whiners....
  14. unfortunately open stamped louvers are just too small to be reproduced in 1/25-24 scale it seems.....without the raised portion they just look like slots or vents to me.
  15. Nice work but niether looks "right" to me as traditional louvers....the ones on the Chevy are far too big and the layout on the Olds just looks odd.
  16. "For a seven thounsand pound tanker it really had some guts" ??? Why did it weight more than 2,000 pounds than all the other full sized Ford wagons?.
  17. Yes they're all there...look under 1960 Chevorlet parts.
  18. very nice...clever "update" .
  19. Over paint as a clear coat? I'm not sure but I think someone was pulling your leg.
  20. So when staff leaves Revell do they take the molds with them or does Revell just throw them away?
  21. I think those tires are from the AMT Indy cars of the early 60's...the Watson Roadster and the Lotus...I too wish they would be reproduced!
