    I bought some kits at a hobby shop during a family trip through Wisconsin. We spent the day in Green Bay and I found a really good hobby shop called N.E.W. Hobby. It was one of the best that I have been to in a long time.

    I just got home after answering an ad on Craigslist for some display cases. I did not know what to expect since there were not any pictures and the lady obly knew that they were big and heavy. So I ended up with five 24 and two 21 slot Carney display cases with mirror backs. The best part was the price, wait for it.....100.00. What a deal.

    I went to a hobby shop that is closing and bought some kits. They were 20% off and I wanted to support them one last time. I have been going there since I was ten years old.

    I cleaned out my photobucket album. I had filled it to the 2500 picture limit. So I can now post pictures whatiI have collected in the past two weeks.

    Tin foil hats are on sale this week. Buy two get the extra black helecoptor jaming liners for free.

    Do not give them any ideas. I cringe at the thought of brightly colored car tires. The range of colors for shoes are bad enough.

    They only cost that much now. It's like the first VCR, color TV, or home satellite dish. The prices will continue to drop. I bet if it was some long wanted fifties car, the price bashing and enthusiasm would be a little different. I personally don't like the car, but the result is just amazing.

    Does Trumpeter ever reissue car kits? I know that this one will not be reissued, but I would like a hardtop 60 Pontiac.

    I second what Harry said. Also, I would buy a unmodified promo before one that has been changed. Even if I wanted to modify it.

    Maybe the publisher is damaging your copy on purpose. I would like too see the damage that you constantly complain about, can you post pictures?

    I was thinking that the kit was more in the area of a hundred bucks, not five hundred. I don't care how rare they are, that's insane level prices. I would rather spend fifty dollars making up the box art, that's all that is really worth the money. And Used Cars was not a B movie, its a great movie that is almost a classic. Any movie with an Edsel, Pinto and a 57 Chevy is a great movie.

    I put a Crown Vic taxi into my own purple pond a week ago. I now have the same thing and the box was sealed. It didn't even remove the paint or chrome.

    Use the parts replacement form on their website. I got my sets in seven days from the time I filled out the online form. Couldn't be happier with their customer service.
