  1. Take a good look at alot of their inventory, and its easy to recognize most of their smaller parts are direct copies of kit manufactured parts.
  2. Looks great. Cleanly built and top job on the bmf.
  3. Up to you Kenn, either way it will be good to see some pics of it again.
  4. That trike is super cool, great imagineering.
  5. Good to hear and look forward to seeing it get completed. That is truly a very unique scratch build. I bookmarked the original thread, but the pics are gone.
  6. Very nice and cleanly built. Surprised we dont see more builds of this kit being posted.
  7. You never cease to amaze me with what you can scratch build.Impressive. On a side note. What happened to the scratch built hub-less motorcycle you were building ??
  8. Cant take credit for the idea.Found it somewhere on the net years ago. I used some sprue tree's to make an engine stand, which I use to hold the engine when assembling and adding plug wires etc.
  9. Pat Coverts book, Building and detailing scale model cars.
  10. X2 I used this technique on my last 5 or so builds, makes things so much easier.
  11. Im still in. With my chosen kits (see post #9) Although I havent started or contributed anything yet.Plenty of time left though. I have a few other builds im currently working on and want to get completed,as soon as they are done il start participating for sure.
  12. Have a look here. BNA Model World Could be considered pricey, but some of the Hobby Design fittings might work for you.
  13. Paasche Talon set complete. from Coast Airbrush
  14. Yeah I know what you mean about lack of motivation, have just been through a stage of that myself. 2012 Tour was fun,so id like to think 2013 will be just as much fun if not more.
  15. too be expected Harry , as you would have only started following this thread in depth when the drama started.
  16. Hey Mark, unfortunate you didnt finish your build last year, but its good too see that it will carry on over in the 13 tour.
  17. Count me in for sure. No idea as to what I will build, but im like you Mark many kits to choose from. I wont be able to start or post anything anytime soon.As I have quite a few other builds that are planned to be built and a few in progress so I need to get them done before I will be able to start and contribute. So with that being said, look forward too see who joins in and what gets built. I will participate at a later date.
  18. Not sure about the beer mug. But reading is your friend post #104 will answer your question about the phone.
  19. I use both, spray cans for applying primer, paint to bodies and other large parts. Although I havent been using an airbrush for very long ive found it is good for paints that arent available in cans, custom mixed colours,Alclad etc and is also good for applying paint to small parts and doing extensive paint jobs like Chris Thobe's. 60 secs ? Too me that seems like a bit of an exaggeration. Even doing a quick back flush takes a few minutes. As I mentioned above, I havent been using an airbrush very long. But I personally Iike break to down the entire airbrush and give it a full clean after each painting session, which for me usually requires about 5 mins.
  20. Look forward to seeing the new projects.
  21. Super clean build and as already mentioned top notch photography
  22. As always your detail work is very impressive and yet again you have done an excellent job replicating a 1:1 subject. Cant wait to see the paint job.
  23. Wow !! Another excellent pattern paint job Chris.
  24. Progressing well Ira, look forward to the next update.
  25. Very nice, like all the mods that you done. An inspirational build for sure.
