    I feel there is always a market for things of this nature... the problem is how big.If I were to do this I think it would be a plus to offer tires that fit the wheels.Just my two cents.

    I don't believe anyone here uses plaster. Maybe you mean PLASTIC? Sheets and different shapes can be had most readily at a Hobby shop under the name Evergreen & Plastruct.

    Neat variation on the use of the astro-vette . I have a couple of those from Flintstone,might give that a try. Nice work by the way.

    Go to an art supply store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's and get a bottle of acrylic retarder, and flo-aid,(two different additives) Liquitex is one brand I've used. Use these as directed and should solve the problems.

    Nice build. Get a hold of some Tamiya Smoke, It's like a translucent black and brush some on the grille,use a cotton swab and dab at it until you like the depth.

    I've used 30 minute epoxy and micro-balloons. Some use super glue and micro-balloons. Micro-balloons can be found in hobby shops that have some R-C inventory. The baby-powder & super glue work too and I've heard about it's use from several sources.

    "Someone else actually realizes that super glue and accelerator isn't all that great for doing major body mods. Thank You!" I mentioned super glue only.I don't use the accelerator either.

    Very nicely done.This should answer a few questions about chopping and sectioning.I like the use of the tape and the primer.I prefer to use super glue on body modifications though. Good work.

    Golf tees(get them in a bag at any sports counter) make great pour/vent tunnels.

    I have a couple: A well done(along the lines of Accurate Miniatures GS Vette & McLaren) of a BC Maserati,The Corvette SS & Stingray racer,& maybe a ledgendary Custom maybe the El Matador '40 Ford.

    That is true,but some of the fault lays with the 1:1 restorations and judging criteria at shows.I think the model paints are better too these days. I would rather see an over-the top gloss however,rather than a build where it appears there was no attempt to clear coat or polish out.

    Yeah,the Tamiya tip is the best.Would like to figure out a way to adapt one to Testors lacquers. I guess I'll just decant and airbrush the stuff,it is great paint.

    If I were to do that,I get too much(IMO) orange peel.I'm in Arizona,where the humidity is very low most of the year.I think the post mentioning this occurring when the can becomes half empty is probably closest to the what I've experienced.
