  1. I read Mini Truckin' (used to Subscribe), Truckin', Street Trucks, Sport Truck, Super Chevy, Import Tuner, Car Craft, StreetSourceMag (used to Subscribe), Auto Sound & Security (when it existed), and I can't remember the name of the Camaro magazine I used to read. Oh, and if it counts, the Auto Trader. If I could find it around here...I would read MCM.
  2. David, every time I see it, this just keeps getting better. I'm not usually a long bed person but, I dig it on this one. After seeing the trailer, I understand why you are putting so much time and money into this build. This is going to be one of those models that one would be proud to display in the living room for a conversation piece when you are done.
  3. Well, I got in and they all look great!
  4. Chuck, just wanted to let you know that, when I clicked the link to your Fotki, AVG detected a Trojan. You might want to see if there is an issue there. I know you are one of the most active regulars here so, it obviously isn't on purpose.
  5. UM I don't get it. These kits are made.
  6. 98 up Chevy S10 05 Chevy Silverado 11 Chevy Silverado Any Chevy Colorado 11 Dodge Charger
  7. Too bad they never made a Chevy Cobalt/Pontiac G5 kit either. Since they are all the same platform, the kit would make the perfect base to start on. I'm surprised no one has released this even in panel form by now.
  8. This thing is looking great. I'd probably have parts scattered everywhere if I tried to build this from scratch. I saw someone mention an Airstream resin kit request. Has anyone seen the Airstream trailer in the diorama built within an old tv for Barry White, on the A&E show, Storage Wars? Maybe the guy who did that would be the hook up.
  9. Never woulda dawned on me to do this. Immaculate.
  10. Those look strangely like the Revell Civic and integra brakes with cross drills added.
  11. I personally think the SS's with the ground effects don't look as good so the convertible works well for me.
  12. Man, I was trying to avoid buying one of these and now ya done gone and made it a lowrider. Thanks for costing me money. Honestly, you made this into a fine build.
  13. Hmm, now ya got my curiosity striken by what may go between the cab and the bed. I think it would also be cool to see it as a long bed as well. From what I see so far this thing is going to be huge. In its day, if people saw it coming as a real truck, they would just scramble to get out of its way.
  14. That's why I created the following and locked it against snowballing out of control. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50833
  15. I found two at Harbor Freight. one was $75 and one was $25. They are on this page: http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?keyword=ultrasonic
  16. Cutting open the hood of the convertible and mixing it with the concept could possibly make a nice full build.
  17. 13 in 11 for me--2 modern cars, 10 classic cars, and 1 classic truck...had to edit because I forgot a couple
  18. Roger, glad to see I'm not the only one that sees how messed up the mail is in KY. And yes, some of the rural carriers are really good about things. It's just sad to see things like this working against our hobby.
  19. Harry was right, everyone was rambling on about Walmart. So, I figured I would just post links to the big box stores online model car pages and close the topic from discussion. Meijer seems to have the best deals. Kmart http://www.kmart.com...revell%20models Meijer http://www.meijer.co.../Ntx-ap?view=72 Walmart http://www.walmart.c...constraint=4171
  20. I prefer raspberry, it sounds kind of proper...thank you.
  21. Sweet, can't wait to see the next round of progress.
  22. Yeah, that is ridiculous. They take all of our mail about an hour from here to sort and return. I just don't get it. Why do they even have the "In Town" box if they are going to do this? Plus, don't even get me started on the independent carriers they use to truck the mail to the sorting facilities. Something is seriously wrong with this country and how it is run. Maybe congress members should be handed a clip board and a pen and be required to earn its money by being assigned to different departments and see what the real issues seem to be...but, I am leaving it at that....don't want to break any rules.
  23. As much as I'd like to have it, I wanna see you succeed with that Vette setup.
  24. ...and my mailing address is...JK I really like this thing. Who makes the kit? Or is it a resin body?
  25. The rear axle is a little weak but, I found the rear frame surprisingly sturdy even after I notched mine to lower it...and mine had instructions in different languages across 6 sets as well. Any progress pics?
