    BMW M3 DTM

Thanks Glenn, I was lucky, the wet coats went down smooth and no dust bunnies - just a light polish is all it needed.
  8. I'm with you Harry on this one. Coincidentally, I saw my very first episode last night when I saw link from Lowrider magazine's facebook page. Now I'm a subscriber too and can't wait to watch more
  9. That's fine Jeremy, we have until 1 December to finish!

    BMW M3 DTM

I have no interest in 1:1 street BMWs but it is the styling of these DTM cars that attracts me to them. They seem to apply a backyard hot rod ethos to the design, although I guess they are wind tunnel tested. For example, they simply cut away 6 to 8 inches from the bottom of the doors to accommodate exhausts/aerodynamic aids, similar to Stone, Woods and Cook removing several inches from the bottom of their coupe to save weight. Thanks for the compliments guys, these are great kits to build.
  11. Finally got started on my '67 Corvette. The kit is moulded in red so I thought it best to paint it red, in this case Tamiya TS49 Bright Red over their pink primer - and yes, bright is an understatement!
  12. Looks great Jason

Revell of Germany kit, goes together well, nice shiny decals. Tamiya gloss white, no clear.
  14. Now that you're back on board Nick, I'd better make a start on mine. The rest of the guys have been doing some great work here.
  15. I just ordered this from Japan, can't wait for it to arrive . Photos would be great Cliff
  16. You're more than welcome to join in James, this build is pretty much open-ended. The photoetch parts have arrived for my Audi, so I hope to start soon.
  17. Looks nice in white
  18. Very nice Jonathan
  19. This arrived today, built it in a few hours ready for my club meeting tomorrow night. Paint is Tamiya Metallic Orange with pearl clear, wheels are 23" Phat Daddies by Pegasus. Just read Porscheman's thread, seems he beat me to it . Maybe I'll try his headlight idea on my next build, there will be another!
  20. Great start Charlie, I'll be watching this one 'cos I have the decals for this too
