  1. As a kid, the first time I saw this body style when they arrived at the dealership was identical to what you are modeling here. I was about nine or ten and was starting to I.D. cars. This left an impression and so does your model. Nice to see you're doing this.
  2. Wow! That's it man, pretty much nailed it. Well done.
  3. That's fantastic. I drive past a testing site a few times a day that's pretty much what it looks like. Nice work.
  4. As as an 11-year old, I hated Don Shula. Almost exclusively because he beat the Vikings in Superbowl VIII and won too much. But I guess that's the nature of being a legendary winner. RIP.
  5. On behalf of Ira Dahm, who drifted off to more important things, but his work should be recognized. Unfortunately, all his great picture threads have been compromised by Photobucket. Still worth looking through his posts. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/profile/627-ira/content/?type=forums_topic&change_section=1
  6. Except now it's a lot harder to proclaim to the entire neighborhood how cool you are struttin' to some junky tunes nobody asked to hear.
  7. Good save, good work. What's not to like?
  8. This is fresh, amusing, creative and brilliant. A crowd pleaser!
  9. A dear friend of mine worked in the stereo business during that era and he scored me most of the ones that came into the store. Still got 'em stacked up in the same frame.
  10. That cigarette's down to the filter Bill. Time to delight us with a few more steps on this. Eh-what, wink wink, nudge nudge? ?
  11. Another jaw dropper. Every detail considered. Nice work Bruce.
  12. Super gorgeous all around! Loved the WIP. I don't often say this, so I'll say it once. It's a shame there's an LS in it. ?
  13. Mid-engine PT Cruiser with Audi R8 engine and chassis. Home made woody decals.
  14. The Fixx, 1984. Lead singer Cy Curnin was in a full leg cast, yet he still hobbled around through his concert movements. Weird.
  15. I love the imagineering. Lots of work ahead but you're halfway there already. Looking forward to more. Just peanut gallery opinion, but I wonder if sail panels could help balance the back with the front angles? Something clever could help fill the big blank spot it creates.
  16. First rate stuff going on here. Looking forward to more.
  17. Beautiful and clean. The wheels and interior look so sharp.
  18. I can see why. Dazzling.
  19. I've been blessed to keep working. I'm a graphic designer so moving my office to home may be an added blessing. More relaxed. When all this blows over I will probably keep working from home since there's no significant benefit to moving back to the office besides fellowship. Connectivity to the office server is painfully slow though.
  20. Totally on board with this one. Why all the fuss about the Aztek when this aesthetically confused little swamp rat slips quietly into the night?
  21. Thanks for the info Steve. I'm kind of glad it's moved back. Better chance that I might go, even though November is sometimes a crummy time to travel.
