  1. That is a really cool build
  2. Great job!!! Love this car. I did the DeAgostini 1/10 Toyota.
  3. I have several questions? Is this the stance or did you modify it? And what black did you use for the hood? Looks great.
  4. Detailed and polished the RB7. Going back to Mark at DeAgostini. 1/7 scale. Very big and a very fun build.
  5. I guess this is the future. Pretty impressive 1/4 mile times. Mr Don Garlits has a electric rail dragster. I’m a old school guy that misses a good 4 speed and the sounds and smells of gas. Heck I get into these new cars and have to sit there a few minutes to figure out how to start the darn things and put them in gear. Some have a round dial for a transmission, some have buttons. Boy do I miss the key days, 4 speeds and even the old automatics. Getting old I guess.
  6. Torino cobra. The motor is not stock. Torino’s never had a boss motor in them. We are trying to squeeze it in.
  7. A very long time ago , I caught a guy trying to steal my car stereo. My friend installed the car stereo and welded a metal bar on the back of it with fish hooks on the back. About 1 month later I heard a yell at 1 in the morning . The car was in the driveway and his legs were out the car door and he was in pain. But the funny this was , the cops were wondering how come his face was so beat up. The paramedics came and removed the stereo and the thief. I did not get the stereo back but it was worth it.
  8. Looks great! I’m doing the convertible. Did you find the bumper and hood molding a bit of a challenge? I’m struggling with that on mine and was so frustrated that I put it away. Great job on yours!!!!
  9. Looks super! I wish there is a wip on this. Is there a lot of cleanup that you need to do on the resin? Since you bought another one , I’m guessing you liked the build. I looked at their site and haven’t pulled the trigger on one. Just might have to after seeing your fantastic build. Good job.
  10. Thank you very much for everything!!!!!! Great site and it’s hard work doing it. Great job and best wishes to all who are involved. Best site ever for model cars!!!!
  11. Looks great Chris. Kind of lost my modeling mojo. Might put the Porsche away for a little while and come to my senses. Need to build a 1/25 or 1/24 before I loose my mind on the hiro kits. Talked to Mark the other day and he even said MFH kits are sometimes a bit overwhelming. I have a little amt kit I just might have to do just to find my mojo again. Bought it for $10 at our club meeting.
  12. Hello Chris. Trying to fit the doors. Was going to do the engine first but the body was calling my name. I might do the center body section ( interior) white. With a black roll cage. Body gulf blue with orange stripes. Fun doing a “what if car” . Do not have to follow any paint or build rules. Other door is being worked on. just might have to paint this first.
  13. Trying to fit the doors. A lot of drilling , sanding, bending and boiling water to reshape the resin parts. Have not even looked at the engine and frame yet. Going nuts already.
  14. Beautiful find! I remember this kit and always wanted one but could not afford it back then. Great score!
