  1. OK....its been almost a week and I'm josin' for an update. I know you've got some more awesomeness to share. I've been able to get my head around your last update finally and am ready for more learning.
  2. Thanks for your offer. I'd would like to borrow it and check the size against Kerry's body once I get his scans. Can't be too much different. Maybe i can make something for the side to fit both. Is this resin body the one from Altered States?
  3. That would be me Scott. Once I get the side body scan from Kerry, I'll be able to make them fit his body. They probably won't quite fit the stock Milner kit. I won't know until I get the scan and get a Milner kit for myself.
  4. Thanks Jesse but all I needed was a to size scan of the decal sheet and a scan of the body Terry is working on. I got the scan and have begun working on it. Thank you kindly though.
  5. This is some real top-notch scratch building Ron. I, too can appreciate your rendering this up as a guide. If i had to make a comment about some adjustments to your build, I'd say your floorboard and firewall are a bit too thin. Everything else is spot on. Keep after it.
  6. John - I love every one of your builds and this one is no exception.
  7. Oh yea, this is going to be good. I'm all eyes on this one.
  8. Posted above so this one's been deleted.
  9. There will be a slide show of the winners on the desertscaleclassic.com website soon. I can't say when for sure.
  10. You bet. That was a really enjoyable day.
  11. I missed seeing your build at DSC. Was it there and I just didn't see it? Were you able to make sense of my goodie bag?
  12. I hope this varied collection is able to be offered to the modeling community through threads here on the forum and elsewhere. Let us know your decision.
  13. Wow!! How cool is this?!? The weathering is top notch. Those pumps look great as does the rest of this. Since there isn't a station behind the pumps, a shot from the other side might be more convincing.
  14. This is really cool and I'll be following along. Love the direction this is going. The new roof shape looks so much better for a Zephyr station.
  15. Dang! The pictures aren't showing up for me an from the comments, I really would like to see this dio.
  16. I'm not sure who you're offering your spare set to, Jesse. The OP says he needs a set and when I get to building mine, so will I eventually. I'm in no hurry.
  17. Since I've always wanted to build this iconic rail. I'd be happy to do the decals. Although Chief Joseph has said he won't be printing customer's decals anymore, i found another printer. Kerry - can you scan your body sides once you get it dialed in? I can work with the decal shown above in this thread. BTW - I never got a note from you.
  18. Thanks Tony. I appreciate you looking in.
  19. I'm not sure he's making these any more. He just a number of pulls from his molds before they start to deteriorate. That's when he stops casting those parts. When I got this one form his a couple of years ago, I believe he said there were only a couple left.
  20. Thanks so much Greg. The AMT kit's original cab is a flip-nose and it doesn't fit very well to the rearward part of the front fenders when in the down position. The fenders also have too much of a crease along the top of the fenders. I've always thought this kit had potential if they'd just fix the cab.
  21. Thanks guys. Very much appreciate your comments.
  22. Tim....holy flipping graciousness!! Every update you're treading new ground and leaving us mere mortals in the dust. Unbelievable craftsmanship. I bow to your awesomeness. We're not worthy.
  23. Thanks so much Darth. It actually came out better than I thought it would.
