  1. Nicely done. With that long frame & the step tanks, you could almost put a flat-deck drom on there.
  2. Most Crackerboxes had either the Detroit Diesel 6-71 or the 6V71. Not sure about the 8V71, but I suppose it's possible on later models. Where did you get the 1950's style trailer nose, and what's that other cab in the background?
  3. Good luck with your build. Is it really molded in the "Dreaded Red Plastic"?
  4. The instructions look better that the last one. Good luck.
  5. Looks like a nice kit. Looking forward to your progress.
  6. Very nice job on Generalfeldmarschall Rommel. When I saw "1/16 Mini-Diorama", I was wondering how anything in 1/16 could be "mini". Well done vignette.
  7. Might just have to pick one up. I have a solid hull woods ship kit in the stash. Started it, but as usual, my mind's eye was way out of whack with my talent.
  8. True. And you see it in lithographs of the period as well.
  9. This dio is really great! Lots of detail, & quite realistic. Is it just me, or do the sails seem to indicate that the wind is blowing from right to left; but the flag seems to indicate that the wind is blowing from left to right? Haven't seen the show.
  10. Thanks. We have a couple of Tractor Supply stores around here.
  11. Well, I guess it kind of depends. Peterbilts could be ordered with spokes, but the were more popular on the East Coast (and Canada, I believe) than to the West Coast. So, spokes could be ordered, but they were rare.
  12. Great looking engine. I really like the details. What yellow do you use for the Caterpillar Yellow?
  13. Thanks, guys. Yes, I'm already rearranging things to make them fit on the existing shelves. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do next. Probably relocate the last trailer to "storage", and just bring them out for photo shoots. Problem is, it's the AMT Tank Trailer; and every time I touch it, something breaks off! Looks like I might have to make a trip to Lowe's to see if I can get some more shelves. Or maybe IKEA.
  14. Really nice detailing all around. I'm partial to green.
  15. Decent looking Ford. Looks like you had some trouble with the hood?
  16. Thanks, guys. Aaron, you were a lot of help with this build. Thank you.
  17. Thanks, Brian. There's just something about that waterfall grill for the 1940's Chevrolet.
