Thank you guys. Two steps forward, one step back, first, the steps forward Interior, just did the basics on it The chassis is pretty much done at this point And how a mock up?, everyone loves a mock up shot And now the one step back, about a week ago, clear coated the body, but my 2k clear got contaminated and the clear coat had a lot debris, too much that wet sanding was going to fix, and I let the 2k clear dry for about 24 hours so its long process of getting it stripped, I am in the home stretch. -
Yellow with black stripes, nice combo

Revell Ford GT LeMans 2017 Motor Sports?
martinfan5 replied to 64SS350's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
No, the actual kit/contents are the same, street cars get a different decal sheet ( EU kits get the EU plates on the decal sheet, US kits don't) -
That is nice, I like it.

I have made some progress, so let's take a look at what I have done so far. Starting with the chassis Working on the front clip And now front clip and rear suspension are a part of the chassis plate And semi mock up, because who doesnt love mock ups? And getting one step closer to paint , I normally darken the panel lines before primer, this time I waited till after, whoops. On this day, the paint god like person said, let there be paint , first coat of paint. -

Dann, what did you use to cut the wheels ?
-
First coat of paint
-
The Toyota FJ Cruiser kit from Fujimi, mine was the polished white version, I painted it Toyota Cement Grey from Scalefinishes, I did paint everything this time around, very fun kit to build, no real issues to speak of.

One of four projects for March, its the new Nissan Skyline ER34 kit from Aoshima, paint will be via Scalefinishes Nissan WV2 Sparkling Silver. The front clip is separate for future tooling purposes After getting the front clip on , the body is in primer and almost ready for paint. The chassis , did some basic detailing The wheels, painted with Alclad Aluminum and then some Testors Dullcoate was applied.

You are correct, but you can still be sited for not having, or displaying current registraion and failing to provide current registration.
-
The DMV , registration expired Feb 28th, said registration was renewed two weeks prior to it expiring , and yet , I still dont have the new tags and registration , bit of an irk.

I just bought(well, it was few a months back ) three bottles of the new lacquer jar paints from a Taiwanese seller on Ebay, the est shipping time was like two months, it took less then two weeks, so as you trying to point out, you cant always trust that estimate that is given. Try this guy, I use this guy for some Mr Hobby Products, his prices are very reasonable, his shipping is reasonable, he combines shipping too https://www.ebay.com/sch/jackrabbit9820/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
