I don't know why I never got one of these. I hope Revell reissues it soon. It's a favorite subject and a very nice build!

I've done that

Looks like the first $10,200 per person unemployment is not taxed by the Feds. Unemployment is not considered taxable income in California, I don't know about Maryland and Pennsylvania. The $10,200 thing appears to be new as of last week.

Definitely see a Pontiac engine in there. Not sure about the rest.

No, they don't. But $2.25 isn't my weekly model budget anymore either. MPC's (and AMT's) price increases from $2 to $2.25 to $2.50 and the Testors paint bottles and spray bombs going up in price taught me to respectfully increase my lawn care prices as a 10-15 year old. No customers fired me over the price increase. Mr. Timmermans, Mrs. Emmerson: I am sorry that I increased your weekly charges, but I was using The MPC Index to set the price of my service. LOL. You both have passed a long time ago, but if you are reading this, thank you very much for expanding my model collection. I think that many of us here share similar stories.

What do you do for the underhood parts? An R/T wouldn't be a 6-Pack, so you would need a Hemi or a single 4-barrel intake for the kit 440, plus the Ramcharger air cleaner and underhood ducting, right? I assume that the Ramcharger hood ducting is interchangeable with the Plymouth "Coyote Duster" Air Grabber stuff?

I don't use it a lot, but I have had mine around 40 years. It's really to use and even easier to clean.

how do you paint the model pieces
Rodent replied to youpey's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Combination of the two. Assemblies that are to be the same color get put together and painted, other stuff is painted on the tree and touched up. -
The 1:1 are the same.

Cool! Me likey. Adds a lot to the already amazing build. Non-Mustang folks are saying, "What?" LOL. Also really liking the "dipped" front lower control arms and the aluminum bellhousing with the cast iron transmission case.

Originally, the Comet was going to be an Edsel.

Is the "SFMxxxx" VIN decal included in the kit or was it with the Marks set? It's a really nice touch!

I am interested to see what changes (if any) will be made for this kit. I still have a couple of the Blueprinter editions in the stash and they have terrible sink marks where the body and interior mounting posts are.

CHP has a mix of 3.6L Chargers and 3.5L EcoBoost Ford Utilities for the most part now. The last Crown Vic has finally met the auctioneer. I have read that they have (had?) a handful of 5.7L Chargers in the Mojave Desert area where they might be needed. They also have some Tahoes. Pickups with camper shells are used for truck enforcement. Snowy areas have had Expeditions and Durangos, not sure now. Might be Tahoes.

This popped up on Google and I found it interesting. A documented low mileage LS6. Looked like something destined for the drag strip that never made it there. No cowl induction, no tach/gauge package,, bench seat, TH400 on the column. The most interesting part for me is that it doesn't have the D88 hood/deck stripes. The 10 10 - bears that out with "-" in the stripe space on the build sheet. Moral of the story? If you mess up the stripes on your model, they were built without them. Lots of good pics for us styrene addicts here: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/all-original-1970-chevelle-ss-flaunts-a-454-ls6-engine-just-14k-miles-157239.html#agal_20

https://www.michigan.gov/documents/msp/VehicleTestBook2009-PerformanceComparison-2_260476_7.pdf This is what the Michigan State Police found in their testing. Between them and the California Highway Patrol, they do an amazing job of testing before they decide what they will be buying.

I would strip it, paint it yellow, and put some cheese company sponsor decals on it.
