Yes....both were well shaken untill flattening agent was evenly mixed. And no, I did not mix them up, because I used the semi gloss on some door panels which is why I did this test. There was a good amount of settled material in the semi gloss bottle.....hmmm.

I just opened a new bottle of MCW semi gloss clear, but appears more like..anodized finish. So I did a side by side comparison...semi gloss is on the left, 10% flat is on the right. The base color is Model Master Nassau Blue in lacquer requiring a clear top coat. Thoughts as to why the semi looks flatter?

I am in need of a few parts for a 1963 Chevy PU restoration project, anything extra...let me know. Needs include...dash and steering wheel, bumpers, emblems, front and rear lenses. Also a few of the motorcycle parts...frame , forks, wheels and tires. Let me know please, and thanks in advance! Karl

I tried the Tamiya Rubber Black, to me it seemed a little flat, like racing rubber, but maybe my primer base affected the results. I'll have to try a different primer next time, because it sprayed very well. Here I used Dupli-Color flat black, it actually leaves a slight sheen.

Some parts for future projects....may have something to do with the Top Kick resin cabs I acquired a few months ago.

I also have several in the painting que box, will be getting my spray booth finally so as to finish those.

I haven't abandoned this build, looking forward to it being completed. I have been busy building kitchen cabinets for a customer, so once finished, I will buy some resin and silicone so I can proceed with the build. Thanks for following!

Working on the interior tub, I'm having to install a larger drive line tunnel since the transfer case was added.

Ok, I think I'm officially done with the resin cab! I have too many models to build to be putting so much time into this one. Here's an update on the new cab. Got the roof done with new drop rail. Cab is mostly done.

Still working on cleaning up these panel lines on the resin cab. Also progress on new cab. Still needs straightened a bit and body work.

A little update....I got all the wheel hub assemblies painted and installed along with part of the steering. In my frustration with this cab and the panel lines, I finally pulled the trigger on making my own cab. Along with doing so, I may have discovered a way to fix them. So the resin cab may get saved yet! Here's my new or next version...

Well, at the end of quoted statement by the plant manager....they are gearing up for a restart on their own account....no further details were listed. Hopefully that happens and we can share any updates!!

The one in my area has had them for awhile, just finally decided to get one, ya know... since it was the last one on the shelf! I'm sure they will be replenished.

Picked up the Ford at Hobby Lobby, Porsche is a partial kit from eBay.

I don't know what is different, but it works! Sometimes, I'll experience a bit of breakage, but not a lot (usually on sharp bends). Anything from hand bending to using a bending tool from my slot car days.

I've had great success using the styrene rod sold from the guy on eBay when making exhaust and headers.

Thanks, as an experiment, I found this chrome spray at Michael's. Looks ok, like many others, but I wouldn't recommend it.
