  1. The difference is the Atomic guys own the original name..spelled..Jo-Han, while Okey sells under..Johan.
  2. A guy I have had the pleasure of knowing, a long with his friends have a hobby shop near Columbus Ohio....Atomic City. They sought out and purchased the name and rights to the original Jo-Han brand.
  3. Found a few treasures at Buckeye Scale Auto show in Hilliard Ohio...a hobby shop was clearing inventory, resins were $10 each, C-10, mustang, and dodge L700 were half off. Box of 1/20 scale parts, LRW kit and new shirt!
  4. Thank you, I used an old can of testors enamel, which takes a 'minute' to dry. Sprinkled from a salt shaker or you can use a tea strainer.
  5. I guess there's two threads for contests, I posted in the other one as well. Yes, I'll be there selling my wares!! (Probably buying someone else's also)
  6. Here's a couple more....the roll bar detail in Bumblebee, especially since there's a set of louvers on the rear window. The Shooting Brake Camaro....I made a rear package area with carpet, never to be seen through the narrow rear window.
  7. I'll be set up here, thinning out the stash, but certainly looking for more treasures! Hope to see you there!
  8. Got these this week. 69 Camaro widebody kit and a 2015 Mustang snap kit for parts or replication, to fit the Flintstone van.
  9. The idea/concept of the gasser, which typically has a higher front end, is that it "preloads" the rear suspension . Also, with the front end higher than the rear, I believe would make the spoiler virtually useless. I'm sure there are more technical answers, of some I'm sure will be brought forth for you. My two cents...
  10. I believe the Futura came with a man and a woman. But, I'd think there's some 3d printed ones out there. Also these...
  11. I thought I had some, but then again....I thought! Good luck.
  12. Do you still need the winch and guard plate?
  13. Another part for the spray booth, next building the enclosure.
  14. What seller so others can be aware? I'm having problems with these guys don't know how to figure out scale.
  15. Got this the other day, 3d printed '59 Suburban. It's a nice printing, but the scale is definitely smaller than 1/25, which is how it was advertised.
  16. Did the MPC or AMT version get corrected? What year of production?
  17. Friday mail and Saturday swap meet in Sharon PA...
  18. I watched recommendations on YouTube, the one from Gaahleri was supposed to be a bit loud. I settled on the "No Name" brand on Amazon, it had good reviews there also. I haven't used it....but I ran it. It's definitely quiet! Looking forward to trying it, working to get my paint booth together first. I watched for two years, hoping for Black Friday discounts, but no go. It was at $140 for a long time, right after I purchased mine, it went to $150. Hope this helps.
  19. My plan is to be there and set up, hope the weather doesn't keep people away!! Looking forward to seeing everyone.
  20. Got to visit the Studebaker Museum Friday.
  21. My notifications haven't been showing up, so just caught up on several pages of content. This is from Christmas and birthday (model related)
  22. It took me this long to figure out my notifications aren't showing up at all. And also, thank you for all you guys do for this forum!!
  23. Got some 3d prints and extras. 59 Chevy Apache, and wheel sets. The one set came out too large, I need to contact the seller. But all pieces look of nice quality. Sent some extra for the misprints.
