Does anybody know of any 3D files of this or a similar tool box or can anybody make this tool box? I know that Chris Olson offers it in resin, but he doesn't seem to be actually making stuff right now so I'm looking for alternatives. I don't need the box to open, just the basic design.

Not to keep ragging on the guy but...I don't think the finishes are as good as they look. If you catch certain glimpses and angles, you'll see spots where the finishes aren't great. I've noticed a lot of hazing in some of his builds. And the photos that are taken and subsequently used by modelroundup don't allow you to zoom in and see some of this stuff. Yeah he does great with the tools he uses and I certainly understand part of his appeal, but I would caution that his finishes look good from afar but from up close, maybe not so much. I would be happy to be proven wrong, but the quality of the pictures showing the finished product and the video angles/lighting don't allow me to make a good conclusion.

Greg still makes them and his email is active. I chatted with him last week via email. -
Great, thank you!

How do we order through you? Just PMing you?

Went to my local hobby lobby today and they had about 7-8 new kits. It was stuff I wasn't interested in so I couldn't tell you what they were, but they were definitely new. There's still empty spaces, but those appear to be from the Bronco and Camaro selling out. One interesting thing I noticed is that they had a new stock of discounted clear display boxes. I had gone a week prior and purchased what was then left. I wonder if they're going with a new brand of cases or if they're trying to discontinue them entirely.

What is your favorite Youtube model channel?

Ha! So true. He's taught some valuable tips on his page and I check in from time to time. But yeah, there's something about how he carries himself... -
I ordered from them for the first time about a month ago. It was for a long out of production kit that was listed at a very fair price. It was a great experience - fast shipping and great packaging.

Sounds good.

Hi Steve. Can you comment on how extensive the decal sheet will be?

A great example of how to make a "simple" snap kit pop. Nicely done!

Need help, what to do? Paint related.

Agreed! No need to strip the hood, just sand and reshoot the black and clear. For the hood, I would definitely use TS-13. I would set the hood aside until you can get some more Tamiya Black and Clear.
