  1. Wow! You are really on a streak with these! They look great!
  2. I like it... and I just finished three myself!
  3. Yea! First new kits in a long time! While I do have the new Revell kit, I always wanted the old Monogram Land Rover. I had posted that they were all up over $100, then I checked eBay and found several above a Benjamin, but snagged this one for $50. So now that I have this, Revell should be announcing the reissue this week.. and you all can thank me! ? My local Hobby Lobby finally got the 67 Chevy so I grabbed one with the magic 40% off coupon.
  4. Phillip, was this the one you saw? It was built from that same diecast by my friend, the late Todd McWilliams. I own it now.
  5. And half the people responding to posts in social media saying it’s a shame, admit that they haven’t bought or supported it in years... there’s a lesson in there somewhere!
  6. Very cool! Nice build of a difficult old kit!
  7. Carl, that’s padding that’s molded with the roll bar. The roll cage came from the Falcon Modified Stocker, but cut down and reshaped in every direction.
  8. I believe there is a seller setting to combine shipping. You do need to put items in the cart, and sometimes it will charge full shipping for first item and a small amount for each additional item. Other times it calculates full shipping cost for each item. That’s when you need to contact seller to recalculate. It’s not fair to seller to do so after paying, as they have already been charged fees on that amount. I don’t believe PayPal or eBay refund fees for this. Sellers get screwed when newbies hit the Buy It Now and pay for each item one at a time. Seller gets charged individual transaction fees for each item.
  9. Sorry to hear Scott! We had postponed NNL East from April to September, and also announced our cancellation today! Freaky year, who ever would’ve thunk! ?
  10. Thank you Dan! You guys certainly made lemonade from the lemons you were dealt this year! With class and dignity! My hat is off to you guys! We tried to create a mega event in September from our local mess, but who knew we'd be in deeper five months later! Surely an unpredictable mess! We will certainly have dinner and celebrate next time we are together! ?
  11. Alan I stopped buying a long time ago! No doubt I have near a dozen of that same custom version.
  12. Hey Dave and team! Thank you for all you do!
  13. Agreed. Companies with special deals don’t show costs on the label. Back in the good old days I had a thriving business on eBay selling auto memorabilia.. car brochures and manuals. Then the market got crowded with idiots who didn’t understand business and the costs, sold stuff at a loss for a few weeks and then moved on. Repeat cycle with new numpties enough to ruin the market.
  14. a moderator once told me that Gregg thought it would be funny to censor some not so bad words... probably what you ran into
  15. With the uncertainty of the current Covid-19 virus situation and in the interest of everyone's safety, the joint team of Tri-State Scale Model Car Club / NNL East, Diversified Scalerz and Philadelphia Area Modelers have unanimously agreed to cancel our September 26, 2020 event! Back in March when we decided to postpone the show to September, that was the toughest meeting we ever had. If we had waited two weeks, the decision would have made itself as the State of New Jersey shutdown. We are living in unprecedented times. We felt our plan to hold the show in September, five months in the future, would be a safe bet. Who knew that things would go the way they have! Currently New Jersey is blocking entry to people from 22 states, with a 14 day quarantine. There is no indoor restaurant dining. Indoor events are restricted to 25% of posted occupancy with a maximum of 100 attendees They aren't sure they will even have school in September. And many states are experiencing surges in Coronavirus. At this point, with no crystal ball, we must go with the safety of our friends in the hobby. Be safe everyone! Watch our website for future details! NNL East 35 - April 24, 2021! https://www.nnleast.com

  17. It not a bad kit! Now if you want some real fun, open up that hood and put a full detail chassis under it!
  18. Looks great and I love the accessories! A bunch of AMT kits tooled in that era had stuffed animal mascots. I believe the 57 Chevy had this lizard guy. I put it on rear shelf of a 51 Chevy custom. Doggie was in 57 Ford, I used him here to strategically cover a tire burn on the seat of this original old custom. There are others too.. fun to collect and use
  19. Great job on one of my favorite old customs!
  20. Thanks! Here’s one more... Busted old 63 Valiant body... became a modified stocker..
