Looking good; that interior has a nice, realistic sheen.

Even cooler, and more accurate as I understand. Good find; I've been watching for one forever and a day...

'68 Poison Dart (Revell Hemi Dart) 24HR Build
bisc63 replied to Starliner Kustoms's topic in Model Cars
Nice build; love the stance and attitude of this car. -
Will be following. I've got one of these in the stash. I may graft the AMT front fenders to it, though, the Monogram kit is wonky in the front/headlight area. Can't wait to see your results!

Nice model! Is that the Trumpeter kit? Any issues with it?
-
Cool! I need one of those!
-
Red is nice for that body!
-
Old Monogram 1/24.
-
Yeah, this Monogram kit has it's issues, but once built, nobody's going to mistake it for anything but what it is. I like building the Mon. kits, and I'm going to build at least one more and try to correct a few proportional problems.

Older version, early 2000s maybe? Still have 2 or 3 in the stash. Need to do a proper red one...
-
Don't you love making that discovery? Happens all the time with aircraft models!

Looks like I forgot the exhaust tips! Oops. Thanks for the kind words, guys.

Fun little kit, had to change it up a little, though. Went with a flat-ish finish, I think it was Krylon Dark Bronze or something like that. Interior is red pleats with white trim. Parts box wheels and tires to be different.

Probably my favorite of Monogram's 1/24 kits, along with the '64 GTO. It's just the quintessential muscle car to me.
-
Robbed the tires from Monogram 57 Corvette.

Built a few years back, mixed the turquoise from leftovers in the shop. Going to build another one of these and try to round up that top, and drop the gutter line down. Paint is actually even, digital pics make it look a little spotty. (Photographer's fault?)

Is the Buick for sure being reissued? Yeah, if so, I'll get one, too. I have the Cadillac and the 56 Ford, and maybe a Chrysler of some sort in the ol' stash.

1960 Chevrolet Pick-up
bisc63 replied to Jeff Stotz's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Finish looks good, quite scale-correct in my book! Love the color too, it makes the build perfect. -
I'd build that Buick in a heartbeat if they just scaled up the tooling to 1/25. I wouldn't be deterred by a multi-piece body if I dig the subject. I even like that the Buick is a 4-door hardtop, an under-appreciated genre. This is one I didn't know even existed; thanks for posting!

Congrats on rediscovering what's fun about the hobby: building kits! Looking good!

Check again; the Edsel part is just the headlight surround. The headlights are Riviera units laid horizontally, which I find too cool!
