    AMT Surf Woody

Very cool; love the work and display!
  3. Good work, and lots of it!
  4. Nice work!
  5. I'm thinking the Lindberg '34 Ford pickup has one. There are better 1/25 flatheads, why not just build and paint one of the better engines, using a good chrome paint finish?
  6. Thanks everyone!
  7. Just saw this one; VERY COOL!!
  8. Came out really nice! Good work.
  9. Nah, just something I mixed up til I liked it. Testors 50s Aqua would be pretty close.
  10. Nice save of both! Good looking models, I still prefer this kit as the most accurate Nova body, just a little fussier to assemble.
  11. Glad to see this kit; I can change out the chassis if I need.
  12. This does what a diorama should, it packs a lot of information in a small footprint. I really like what you've done here.
  13. Nice. Good to have a realistic backdrop for model photos, and this one is so well done!
  14. Very well crafted! Love it.
  15. Couldn't agree more on your paint choice; one of the nicer of the trike builds I've seen here. Well done!
  16. Interesting read. That looks like a great candidate for a scratch-build; simple shapes, combined with some off-the-shelf components and parts robbed from available kits, it could happen.
  17. Looks good! White models can be tricky to make realistic, many look toy-like. You nailed this one.
  18. Beautiful Buick; black with red interior is always sexy!
  19. Agreed, that is pretty!
  20. I meant to ask; is this right out of the box, or did you use the available vacuformed clear parts? Either way, it looks gorgeous!
  21. Got a couple of these in 1/48, and one in 1/72. Fictional but nevertheless cool design, and apparently a lot of people agreed; I believe this became Testors biggest selling kit.(?) I like the direction you are going with it. I really like "what if" builds; it's all you and your imagination out for a stretch.
  22. Liking this one, sorta reminds me of a Thames wagon.
  23. Not familiar with TKM resins, but that model looks cool! I really like your choice of dark gray metallic; very classy ride!
  24. I've read a few posts on other forums where guys have stopped using this filler method; seems it breaks down after a while. Have you had any long-term experience with this?
  25. = spark plug wires ( or simply "plug wires" ) and distributor. That concludes the English lesson for today! Loving the details you are adding to the model. Small changes yield large results sometimes! The plug wires are a perfect example. Don't forget to add cables from that battery!
