  1. Coming right along; loving the tail end treatment.
  2. I believe the 90s release of the 69 Firebird also included some sprues from the 70 GTO, maybe the bucket seats? Someone here will know for sure, but it seems lots of parts of the 70 GTO are floating around in various kits.
  3. Misha, that Vicky and Phaeton are gorgeous cars/models! Don't recall seeing them here before. Lots of beauties in this most interesting thread; can't wait to see what else shows up.
  4. Ahh, that makes sense. I hadn't considered there would be enough depth there, so I just assumed a wagon-type setup underneath would be the solution.

    Great model! Well done.
  6. That's a very cool look in my book. I even like the copper-ish brown color!
  7. Cool reference. It makes me wonder, though, IF and WHERE does a hearse carry a spare?!
  8. A beautiful model of a fantastic automobile. This thing says Super Car from any angle, but that rear-end view is what really sells it for me! That view along with the understated color just has a SERIOUS attitude! So well done!
  9. Should make for a fun build! No idea on the resin, though...
  10. You mixed up a very attractive almost Black Cherry color there!
  11. The stock hood is nice looking, and keeping in the spirit of theme of stock appearance.
  12. The orange sedan is just stunning; super clean style and a hot color! What color will the Ranchero be?
  13. Looking good so far! If I could make a suggestion, it would be to cut out the gas tank area between the rails, and replace with that area from an AMT 59 El Camino. The Elky has an incorrect gas tank setup, in that it is the station wagon type; being shaped to fit around a spare tire. You could even swing a spare tire under there for added detail.
  14. Nice! Yeah, you need to finish this one, it's off to a cool start. I was just mulling over those intake parts the other night and thinking, you seldom see this option built. Stance is seriously cool. Digging it!
  15. Wow! That Caddy glass is an awful fit! Is this a new kit, or a "used " purchase? I've never heard or read any complaints about glass fitment issues with the kit, and no one would overlook a fit that bad, I wouldn't think. Otherwise, your builds are looking really nice! Shades of green have been getting more love here lately it seems.
  16. Well done, and the color is very typical for those days!
  17. Plus 1 for the stripes, in black. I think they would complement this color very nicely.
  18. Very cool, will follow this with MUCH interest, as I have been planning for a similar project although I had thought about basing mine on a 65 Chevelle just because I have an extra. I have reference photos and some measurements from a junker I have amassed. Too many other projects ahead of this one! PM me if my references can be of help to you. The Buicks are greatly under-appreciated in the collector market, IMHO.
  19. Very pretty car. The wheels ain't my thang, but you just got to love a metallic blue Impala of any vintage!
  20. Cool! This has a real '80s street machine feel to it, with that color, painted bumpers, and choice of wheels. Good job.
  21. Well done (as expected)! They do look classy in black!
  22. Well done, and a very attractive shade of blue!
  23. Really coming along!

That came out nice! Was fun to follow the build process on this one.
